This is great spirulina powder! It tastes fresh, is very blue-green, mixes well, and hasn't had any strange side affects. I usually mix a heaping spoonful with a cup of milk and a spoon of honey! Honey makes it taste so much better. I use my emersion hand blender as it doesn't fling the powder and mixes it very nicely! Spirulina lattes are delicious! I love that this is Hawaiin all natural, not the organic.. I ordered an organic one prior and not only did I receive it busted, it smelled absolutely awful! After researching, the only real organic way to make spirulina is using a biogas digestor, which is essentially a compost made of waste (human or animal feces) and other biodegradable things. Since this is such a receptive material, I would think that the organic could be exposed to a lot of chemicals, medicine, and bacteria from the biogas digestor. I've used horse manure on my garden but would never use human or pig manure! Anyway, I would definitely purchase this all-natural product made on the Hawaiian spirulina farm. It's delicious and has lots of nutrients. The label is a little wrong on dosage I believe, I wouldn't use more than one heaping scoop, it's a large teaspoon, and this powder can really be compacted in the scoop. Have been using it for almost two weeks and definitely feel a boost of energy and my digestion has been better! Also my inflammation in my spine has been going down! Will definitely purchase again, and have recommended it to my friends!
