failed to function
I had a small cheap-o pair of folding scissors for many years. After I lost it, I bought these sturdier scissors. The first pair folded and unfolded easily and I used it about a dozen times. Then, I couldn't get it into the cutting position. I thought I had some how pulled too hard or ???? Anyway, opened the second pair which seemed fine. Folded and when unfolded and prepared to cut, I couldn't get it into the cut position. While the cost was low and the scissors are strong and sharp, if they don't unfold, those positives don't mean much.

Fun idea but execution not great. Doesn’t close well and oily
Doesn’t work great and super difficult to close. Get a pen scissor for a more function scissor and easy storage. I like that it’s small but that’s about it. Difficult to close and I always think I might cut myself the way it closes. Also not easy to open.

Works great and is nice and compact.
Works perfectly for my needs. I brought this along for a difficult, 7-mile hike and used it to cut some leukotape to cover blisters that were forming on my feet. Scissors cut through easily and cleanly. I keep the other pair in my car.

Way more useful than I would have thought
They're my favorite beard trimmers. I use them for all sorts of things. Great for travel. I was initially annoyed you couldn't buy just one, but now I have several. So handy.

Defective
One pair will not close - I’ve had telescoping scissors before and know how they are supposed to work . I’m not impressed with the quality and plan to return.

Failed 2 minutes after receiving them
Folding scissors that jam the very first time they are used are worse than useless - I cannot recover the sunk cost associated with picking them out, purchasing them, waiting to receive them, having to return them, and waiting up to 30 days to get my refund. Look elsewhere.

Excellent for travel, wash first
These scissors are awesome, and because the blade is short you're able to travel with them. When I took them out of the packaging, there was a strong greese smell and the scissors were slick from manufacturing oil. I washed them in the dishwasher and they were perfect.
