No hair to groom, so asked my son to give it a go instead. Here’s his verdict:“This gives a sticky thick texture. I recommend applying to lightly damp hair for the best effect, and using a hairdryer for spikey styles. It doesn’t feel greasy or weird like some clays. You can use it very sparingly, even for wilder style looks, so it will last all day, and can be restyled with a little water and effort. It has a lovely smell, with a fresh citrus note. It’s well-packaged, but so it should be at this price.The downsides are:-Obviously, the cost. I’ve achieved a similar effect with clays which cost around £5-It’s very hard to wash out – you need three washes to remove all trace of it”He nearly gave it only three stars, but said that because it worked well and smelt good it just deserved four.

This clay has a relatively strong hold and to me, it wasn't as sticky compared to other products on the market. It makes it easier to style hair and looks pretty good.Nice scent to it which lingers but depends on how much you put in the hair.It's a small tub and only contains 100ml of clay, which is quite small when looking at the price.For £22.99, you're essentially just paying for the brand name. You can easily find cheaper products that do the exact same job. However, this product is ethically manufactured and not tested on animals so I guess some could try to justify the price there.

This texturising clay from Life Hommes Grooming has been very good, it’s the first time I’ve used their products and so far I’ve been impressed. The clay goes on smoothly once you’ve rubbed it between your palms the hold is excellent. There isn’t any greasiness or shine which I like. I also like that it can be washed out with water.A good product that will entice me to try more from their range.

This texturing clay has a thick and sticky texture, it makes your hair mouldable and easily workable into different styles.I find that I only need about 3 fingertip amounts of the clay for my hair which is short, it spreads well and covers most of the hair strands.The scent is really sweet and almost nauseating if you take a huge hit in the container, but it's not so noticeable when applied and doesn't project very far.

This product is no different, in a positive or negative way, to anything that you canbuy at the supermarket for £5. Don't be fooled by marketing.Having said that. It does what it meant to be doing. And it smells amazing.

Does the job perfectly, and smells nice!

Lovely product - my partner has a sensitive scalp and this doesn’t irritate him at all. Will deffo be buying again!
