The New Best of James Taylor for Guitar: Easy TAB Deluxe (New Best of...for Guitar)

I thought the tabs were supposed to be ontop with the music. I dont want to see F#. I want to see the tab without having to flip back to page one after every chord change. From now on, Im getting my books at a brick and morter store so i can see a yrue representation of what i am getting.

James Taylor is such an accomplished musician it's tough to figure out how to play the tunes he so skillfully plays, but this book is a huge help. I would definitely recommend it for anyone who is looking to play JT's tunes but isn't the best at figuring out what's what just by listening to tunes. The chords are drawn at the beginning of each song, so's you can practice learning them prior to busting into the song and having to turn pages. Of course the chords are listed throughout the song, but the diagrams at the beginning I find to be more helpful in learning the tune.Nothing bad to say about this book, it is a great book at a great price.

Good book for first timers! That is what I bought it for! But be aware it won't teach you all the details it takes to make a song sound like the original, that's where youtube comes in! This book and youtube together will make a great match for you, they did for me!

Not for beginners.

I'm a guitar novice, so I'm still trying to achieve some of the chording represented in this book. This would be a great choice for someone with a bit more experience. Now if I could just sound like JT!

JT is awesome but his music is not for beginners. I'm a beginner this is way hard. If you are playing at an advanced level this would be great.

This is a great book for those of us who play infrequently but still want to play the old favorites. A long time fan I grew up on James Taylor's music and was glad to add this to my library.

Great songs. Very difficult sings to play for beginner/ intermediate.

Covers the well known songs with a couple of exceptions! Title says its eady tab but its not! You need to be a good guitarist to play these songs!

There are wrong and/or missing chords to a few of the songs, Millworker & Fire & Rain in particular. Disappointing.

I like the selections in the book, but would have preferred easy chords. The book was bought for someone with limited chord knowledge.
