I purchased these to use while my dog is recovering from surgery, and can't be jumping on and off the bed during the night. The rails were easy to assemble and install. However, I did not utilize the straps to secure it to the bed frame, which I would definitely do if I were using these with a baby/child. As they are, they're not sturdy enough that I'd use them with a baby, but they're perfect for keeping my 12lb dog on the bed.

This fit perfectly on our king bed. The walls are super high (which was important for us when looking for bed rails). And there is a mechanism for raising/lowering the mesh for access, as well as the overall height. Our dog recently suffered an injury and since we have never crated her, we didn’t have the heart to start now. She sleeps in bed with us and loves to laze around in bed until around 10am every morning (well after mom and dad have gotten up and started working). We thought these bed rails would be the perfect solution for letting her sleep-in, but ensuring that she isn’t jumping on/off the beds until one of us can assist her. They are sturdy and high enough that she isn’t tempted to try to jump over. Fantastic!

The bed rail was easy to put together and install on our bedframe. I appreciate that they include multiple ways to attach the rail to different types of bedframes. Also that the height of the bottom rail is adjustable. A previous bedrail I had purchased broke because it sat too high on our foam mattress. This rail adjusted to a better height for our mattress. The mesh fabric is tight and feels secure. There are two very small cons. The rail makes a loud click everytime it is locked in place. Also because it is so tight it has to be raised and lowered from the center of the rail or it gets stuck. It's not a big issue, but there have been times I wished I could have raised or lowered only one side.

I co sleep with my now 8 month old, I’ve been nervous about it since he started crawling and likes to practice in his sleep🤦🏼‍♀️ so mama wasn’t sleeping well…. My husband thinks I’m crazy for turning our king bed into what he calls a “pack n play”… BUT this is a game changer for us! Restful sleep without having to worry about the babe crawling off our tall bed. No more anxiety for mom, and babe seems to enjoy it as well.Now I did not follow the recommendation for the size on a king bed, I did three pieces all 77in, and it works perfectly on our bed, so just measure before you buy the third side.

Bought this for our king bed and it’s not compatible at all. I believe this should only be used for solid bed frames - not the ones with wholes/spaces.

Instructions were meh, hard to see (small pictures), no instructions for using the strap, unclear.Managed to get it assembled, that was the easy part.The product is very tall, much taller than we needed.We installed this on a twin bed, the product was exactly the length of the twin bed. Just placing the supports under the mattress made the railing very unstable, we have a 1year old grand-daughter, no way it would have supported her if she stood up and leaned on the railing. Also VERY tall off the bed. Collapsing the side made the bar even with the bed, uncomfortable to sit on the side of the bed and definitely bending the rail.We could not figure out the straps and also failed to see how that would have helped with railing support.Ended up screwing the support that goes under the mattress into the box spring. This made the railing much sturdier but was still concerned if a toddler stood and leaned into the railing due to hits height, would it hold or break. Seemed like if you got the L piece for the bottom of the mattress it might have been better?? I can see if you did the U or completely boxed all the way around how it would be almost like a play pen and very secure but we only needed this for one side.We ultimately decided to return this for a more simpler bed railing that wasn't so tall and long.

Can’t recommend these guard rails enough! We got these when transitioning our toddler to his big boy, low loft bed. We needed something that was high enough for when he stands up in bed, and this did the trick! f you’re looking for rails that are sturdy and reliable, this is it!! I was so happy and relieved when my husband got them installed. It’s been several months, almost a year, and the rails are still perfect. We plan to buy the exact same for our other son when it’s time for him to transition. I love the size options too. They’re also very quick and easy to install.

liked that this was long enough to cover the entire length of bed and was tall enough still when my toddler stood up in bed. It’s a tiny bit flimsy so if toddler was to really have a tantrum/kicking/pushing, I’d be worried that it might bend, but it was sturdy enough still for toddler to stand and hold on to it. We used it on a boat since pack n plays take up a bit too much room.
