The overall design and usability are good in concept but poor in application. The trigger is super thin and the pressure required to release the mechanism is great. This leads to the trigger cutting into the users finger. I had to modify the trigger by applying a small piece of rubber tubing split lengthwise and slid over the edge of the trigger itself. Works well now but was unusable out of the box.

product was bought togeter with a water rocket. thanks to this product I could show the kids an into in goniometry calculating triangles .. cosinus and sinus is to difficult for the kids of 10. So I used a apps calculating for them by using this toy they were able to fill in enough data to estimate the hight their waterrocket could go.. and they even started to measure the hight of appartementbuildings. However they still are to young for secundary school maths, I am sure they will remember when they have the age and it will help them in study interest and even to capture. Suggestion to the manufacturer.. put a paper with an url link in the box of the toy so they easy can have acces to understand the toy is actually a very good tool .

This product was horrible. Too many conversions were required to get an reading. Not even sure it was accurate. Ur better off soending an extra 10 bucks for an electronic one.

Ordered for my son to measure his rocket altitude. He loves it! You have to be a certain horizontal distance from the rocket to measure the altitude accurately. If your rocket doesn't go as high or higher than what the device measures you can simply cut the distance in half or double it and then do the same for the readout on the device. Simple, robust, useful, and fun!

Broke the first day of use. Worked great for an hour.
