Great watercolor paper!
I just discovered this paper and I am very pleased with the results I have gotten. Very sturdy, no buckling and the paper is great for layering transparent watercolors. Very happy!

Great paper
I’ve bought this paper a few times now. I love the feel and thickness of this paper. It’s easy to paint on. I would’ve given it 5 stars but this last block I’ve been using was glued so much that I’ve ripped three sheets trying to remove them.

Great value
I normally use only 140lb papers and wanted to start playing around with the big boy 300lb ones. I bought the 8x10" ones, the pochette makes it convenient to work on one isolated piece at a time. My washes were fantasic! The colours mix just like in the youtube tutorials. The price was also un-refusable. I will totally buy this and other things these people make, again. Enjoy!

Loved it at first but now it’s meh.
Update: I had to downgrade this from a 5 star paper to an average 3 star paper. No matter how careful I am it, it tears the paper with frisket or even worn in painters tape - something I’ve never had an issue with on other papers. I love masking off areas so I can do fun background effects before working on the subject. I also had a ton of trouble lifting the tiniest bit without ruining the paper, which is odd since the first sheet did this easily, so I wonder if there’s a quality control issue between papers. My second sheet even buckled in one area with only a very average amount of water and I had a ton of difficulty transferring my drawing to the paper which I’ve never had an issue with on other paper. Bummer because initially I really liked this paper but now I’m unlikely to try more. I rated as average still because some watercolor styles would never use frisket, or lift, or use a lot of water, so this will still work well for someone, just not me.Original Review: Happy with this paper. Never tried a 300lb paper before, so can’t say how it compares to other papers in it’s class but I don’t have a reason to try another at the moment. Suddenly my art looked professional. I cut one sheet into small tester sized papers and threw everything at it, glazes, lifting, wet on wet, really heavy wet on wet, and correcting “mistakes”. I was happy with how it handled everything. I threw on Epsom salts, table salt, alcohol, and squirted water and I got the best effects I’ve ever gotten. My only qualm was the paper color was natural white instead of bright white, and I do prefer a bright white with most of my art. I suppose it wasn’t advertised one way or another so I should have assumed natural white, so my bad.

Really Nice Watercolor Paper But arrives damaged- EVERY SINGLE TIME
The paper is really nice. The colors and water absorbs beautifully. However, I have ordered 9 packs of this paper. The reason I’m giving this paper a lower review is due to shipping. Because of the situation I’m in financially, I had to make due and cut it down and figure it out. My son died- I had bills to pay-I had to figure it out with what was sent. That being said, Amazon does a POOR job shipping delicate paper in a bag… always arriving damaged on the corners from shipment… while the paper is one a wrapped heavy paper wrap- it is not durable for shipping without bubble wrap or some sort of padding besides a plastic bag wrapped in half.

Successful Paper
Great, sturdy paper for students and myself! Good for adding touches of soft chalk pastel over my watercolor.

Lays flat without taping
I like the weight of this paper. Takes water without warping. Allows lifting of color. I’m just a beginner
