Monster High: Ghoulfriends Forever Hardcover – Bargain Price, September 5, 2012

This book is really beautiful. I love that it was hard cover and had illustrations within the book. The test is set up well for young readers. My 8 year old is an avid reader and absolutely loved this book! She read the whole thing in two weeks from getting it.These stories promote good values. I really wish when I was growing up I had more positive outlets that promoted uniqueness and acceptance of yourself. It is hard to teach a young girl to love herself and value close friendships. it is even harder to instill that being unique, or 'weird' is alright–being true to yourself is important. These books do just that. I am so glad my daughter can escape into these fangtastic books and I will definitely be purchasing more!

This Book is awesome and yes I actually read it! First off The book itself is a nice size and perfect to take with you anywhere you want. The pages are easy to read and yet don't talk down on you at a grade school level ( like alot of Children's book do ). The artwork is fantastic and really does look like the characters, and gives just a little more for your imagination to work with, and BEST OF ALL, it actually takes place at MONSTER HIGH unlike the other books. SO if you want a good book or want to start reading Monster High the way it should be this book is for you, and I can't recommend it enough!

Very cute Monster High book.

I am an adult fan of Monster High. I collect the dolls and think the webisodes are adorable. Additionally I am a fan of all things paranormal as well as an avid reader. I was somewhat disappointed when I learned that Lisi Harrison's Monster High books were no longer being written and published. I then learned that a new Monster High book series was being released written by a different author. Then I became more concerned when I learned they were being marketed to a younger age group. I was really leery about "Ghoulfriends Forever"I was positively surprised. This new series is much more true to the Monster High shows and doll line. I loved Headmistress Bloodgood losing her head now and then! I also really enjoyed seeing appearances by even some of the shows background characters. While I would have liked to see bigger roles by Cleo, Frankie, Ghoulia, Draculaura, Clawdeecn, and Lagoona, I did really enjoy getting to know the three newest Ghouls, Robecca, Venus, and adorable Rochelle. I also liked that they portrayed Monster High as having dorms for students who don't have families that reside in town. The cover of this book is breathtaking and I really liked the black and white drawings that opened each chapter.What I wasn't so crazy about? The book wasn't too low of a reading level but I can see where younger fans more in the targer demographic will be able to read this book. It was still enjoyable reading for me but I would have liked the book to have been slightly more detailed. The mystery was solved very easily which is to be expected. Still this book was worth reading and I am glad that they will be releasing more installments.

I will have to preorder the new one coming out in April as well for my 8 year old daughter. She has one or two of the other books by another author ( Lisi Harrison) but this book is a better read for her age. It is easier than the other Monster High Books and it is so funny ( I read it before her to make sure it was okay), making references to Gillory Clinton and all sorts of monster high names for real people. It was hilarious.

O.K., first you have to like these type of kwetsy films. Just another accept me I'm different movie. But I enjoy books like this. It is very kid friendly. And like I stated above, it is funny. (At least I think it's funny) So yes, Monsters Rhule!!!.JRMActually I thought I was buying another movie, but I read it anyway. kids who like Monsters will love it. (I hear walking dead movies are in now, so they'll love this, just without gore and violence.)

i thought this book was really cute and fun to read. i bought it for my daughter but after reading the previous monster high books i wanted to make sure that this one was good for a younger reader, and yes it was. it is writen very close to the style of the movies/show. my daughter was over the moon to get this book and cant wait to read the rest of the series. To be honest i cant wait to read the rest of the books myself :)

Adorable book for young readers. Fun monster word play and an intro into various paranormal monsters. Great underlaying message of friendship.

This book is amazing! I really liked the idea of dragon/ monster whisperer and i like the idea of using the three new girls as the main characters. I think that the whole book is amazing and anyone who does not like this book are a wierdo. I gave this book five stars because Gitty has really brought the book alive with excitement and fun. It also seems like Rochelle is the main character and that is good. Robecca`s forgetfulness makes you laugh and really brings in some fun. Well done Gitty, you have written a really good book
