Does not dissolve instantly in mouth but I found a great use for it so please read
I am a type 1 diabetic for 42 years so I am a survivor. I am blind from diabetes but wanted to explain my experience with this product.I'll admit this upfront - I cannot see the instructions on the box so if it says to mix it with water my apologies - I had to find that out on my own through trial. If the instructions do state to mix with water you can skip reading this review. Otherwise, you will want to read this one. Here was my experimentation with this product.Note: I'm a computer programmer by profession so I focus allot on numbers when I experiment with any diabetic product. The first pack I tried - I opened a pack and put the entire contents in my mouth expecting it to dissolve instantly based on the product description that I read on amazon. This was the big selling point to me for this product and is the only reason I purchased it. No other reason than the instant dissolving feature and getting the glucose more quickly into my bloodstream. This did not happen. Instead, it was like I ate 5 saltine crackers and every bit of saliva in my mouth was used up. I almost choked from using this the first time. I timed it - it took me close to 1 minute 30 seconds to get this to a state where it mixed enough with my saliva so I could slowly start to work at swallowing it. I repeated the same experiment with 4 glucose tablets and got them down in much less time.I did this when my sugar was around 68 for both experiments. So my first thought was no way would I ever use this if I was around 40 to 58 due to difficulty chewing and swallowing being that low.Hold on though I found an excellent use for this product so keep reading. So this powder/sand is the equivalent of 4 glucose tablets ground up to the texture of extremely fine sand. So you should see this product as not a powder but rather a sand that absorbs all of your saliva in your mouth if you choose to eat it straight. The second time I used it I took have the pack and had to chew up the powder almost the same amount as 2 glucose tablets. A little less but nothing outstanding to me personally. Again, there was no instant dissolve. I just want to point that out. I still had to chew almost as much as 2 glucose tablets. So as a final step to make this work for me I put the contents of one package of the powder into 3/4 cup of water in a glass, gently stirred it around like 3 or 4 times with a spoon, and drank it like a fruit punch. Bingo this worked great! This worked very well. This is why I am going to rate this a 4 out of 5. I actually did find a use for it but had to mix it with water. If I had to rate it as an edible product and not a liquid mix product I would rate it a 1 or 2 for an edible product and especially for the cost.I could easily put 2 packages of this into 2 cups of water and gently stir it around then drink it. The flavor is outstanding. So I am sold on the flavors of this product - great work on the flavors.Note: if you try the water experiment and think my mixture is to sweet, add more water to it to weaken it but just make sure to measure the water with a measuring cup. Likewise, if you try my mixture and think it is not sweet enough add less water. Your mileage may vary. The liquid punch also worked rather quickly. A little bit faster than glucose tablets so I give it a plus for that. This is because the body doesn't need to break it down as much since it is in a very fine powder. Mixed with water it is perfect! Where as chewing glucose tablets takes a little longer and breaking glucose tablet chunks down in your stomach takes a little longer. So when you are low every little bit of help you can get you should consider using that help since every minute counts.I have not experimented with this yet but I may try premixing up punch using like 3 or 4 packets of the glucose powder and a few cups of water then measure it out into a shot glass each time I take it. This way my ingredients to create the punch are the same measurement each time, and I am dosing the same amount of the fruit punch each time using a 1.5 ounce shot glass. I'll then test my sugars to see how many shots I need to come up to a reasonable level and repeat this process each time.I'd probably leave the punch drink out at room temperature and not refrigerate it. Premixing the punch may degrade the strength of the glucose over time so I am not sure about that yet. It may be best to make it when your low is happening (if able to) or you start to notice you are getting low. This is what we do as diabetics - experiment, experiment, experiment. This product costs much more than a bottle of 50 glucose tablets and you do not get nearly enough for the money in my mind. However, I can deeply appreciate the creator of this product, a concerned mom did this for her child so hats off to mom for that but the production costs are just to much in my mind. With that said though, I will keep this on hand as an option for fighting low blood sugars but will only use it mixed with water.

Works Well
I have a son with long qt syndrome and because of his medication his blood glucise is prone to dropping, especially in the heat. For him a blood glucose drop could cause even worse issues. He was to go to youth camp for the first time this past summer and I worried he wouldn't have access to snacks while out and about if his sugar dropped so I got these. He could jist slip them into his pocket and a few adults could do the same for extras. He said they worked great!I often have glucose drops as well working outside in the heat and even forgetting to eat at times after losing track of time and getting busy/hyperfocusing. On those days I tend to be alerted I'm hungry after I'm already getting dizzy. The packets work great to pop my sugar up so I can secure whatever needs to be secured and I can go inside and eat. They taste great, work good and quick.

WOW
Fast working, and the taste is spot on,I take a little at a time in the palm of my hand, because if you take it all at once I've choke on it. and if I need it too get to my bloodstream fast put some under tongue.Other then that, it's not gritty taste like a finely ground sweet tart, I like the apple the best, but all flavor taste great.M

The BEST to raise Glucose levels FAST.
I depend on this product to raise my glucose levels fast. I sometime have a reading of 43, this raises it within 15 minutes so I'm not sick. I wish they would make the Fruit Medley available. I always have this in my home ....just in case.

It does resolve right away in my mouth!
I purchased the apple flavor and I loved it! Tasted real good, 1 packet (15g) and I’m good to go. They do dissolve in my mouth right away without water! I took it bit by bit; it’s too hard to eat the whole packet at one go anyway. My hand/fingers did get a little messy sometimes if I missed my aim, or coughed a bit if the powder happen to ‘land’ directly at my throat - but they don’t bother me! I will purchase again when I’m low in supply!
