Ringside Leather Boxing Double End Bag, 7 Inches

This bag has withstood serious abuse and shows no real wear. Air pressure is excellent. After a refill and frequent use over a month, there is only slight pressure loss. As I learned the bag and progressed to heavy power shots, the bungees rapidly lost their initial tension. Anchored approx. 8'6" from floor to ceiling, the bag speed is now at about 108 bpm. This slower tempo is just as fun, useful, and challenging for me. I believe the 7" bag would be the best size for novices and intermediates. Large enough to learn on, small enough to really grow into, and it feels properly proportioned for a gloved hand. If you glance the bag on the outside with a wide/heavy punch, the bungee can sling into your arm and break blood vessels, leaving pretty nasty looking marks on the skin. Not bruises or burns, but like long hickeys. The pain is minimal in comparison to how the marks appear. They are non-serious. This bag is excellent for exercise and training. I would highly recommend it along with a good pair of boxing gloves.

Love this double end bag from Ringside! Purchased this to mount in the garage using an eye hook lag bolt into the ceiling, and a weighted heavy bag anchor bag for the floor. I’ve been using this bag daily for several months now, and the bladder is still perfectly intact and hasn’t deflated or popped since. I typically like to keep the bag less than fully deflated so that it takes on more of a tear drop shape - plus it keeps it from being too “bouncy” when striking it. The outer material has held up very well too! The leather isn’t cracking or fading, and the none of the stitching is coming apart. The model I have says made in Pakistan. The quality of this bag is excellent. The rubber straps it comes with are okay, but I’d suggest using thin rope or another type of bungee - attached to a swivel at each end to allow the bag to spin freely when moving. Overall, this is a great value double end bag from a reputable boxing equipment company. This is by far my favorite boxing tool for working on punch rhythm & fluidity and hand- eye coordination.

I wanted a small double end bag to fit into my gym bag and futhermore I thought a smaller target would be more fun to hit. This product fit the bill. It comes with 2 heavily dense rubber harness/cords that are different lengths (one for the ceiling and one for the ground). Having 2 rubber chords is great as I tend to use only one for the ground and a nylon rope to affix to the ceiling, so if I want more resistance I can just change out the bottom rubber chord for the shorter one. The leather feels premium, very grainy and satisfying to touch. Great product to have at your gym or carry in your gym bag. I did notice slight deflation after a few days of use, nothing too alarming as I did excessively pump the bag prior to use. Just wish they’ll make a “foam core” version as title did with their new line of DEB in this size so we wouldn’t have to worry about deflation.

they sent me the 9 inch instead of the 7 that I ordered. I also ordered a 5 inch and got a 5 inch. pictured is the 9 inch next to the 5 inch. I like them both so i’m keeping both of them but just make sure they give you the right size. It says the bladder size on it. I used my own 10ft of bungee from ACE hardware. bought 2 different bungee sizes and tie an anchor knot to hold and adjusts easily and unties easily. The 9 inch feels better when you hit it and you get more of a positive punch type feel and you can hit it harder. the smaller 5 inch is just as hard/easy to hit. They both move fast and I honestly feel very little difference hitting either despite the vast difference in size. They are equally hard/easy to hit with the same combos. If i could only own 1 I would go with the 9 inch because its just as hard to hit as the 5 but it feels like i can hit it harder and it moves more on the small bungee. also it hits back harder encouraging you to not get hit by it. the 5 feels too light and since its not any harder to hit I don’t see the point in going with the 5 inch. Just my opinion using both side by side and trying to use different bungees. I don’t have an urge to order the 7 since I like the 9. Even though the 9 is big you still have to hit it square for it to work properly. Ill try to use both and update my review if i feel different. I inflate to 4 psi and just pump it when I feel like it. Usually in a week.

Super dangerous! Rubber hanging attachment not strong and used poor rubber. Hook pulled right though!!!!

A great double end bag for the price. Many say the best. First thing to know. The bladders come not inflated in all double end bags that are shipped. So you grab your air pump, wet the air needle, you insert and pump and 90 percent of the time the bladder wont take air cuz you must tinker with the bladder how its rested in the leather. Dont judge the bungee chords that it comes with. You must buy many of all different tensions and lengths. Judge the bag. Its solid when your past these two points that ive made. Good feel. Good rebound! Genuine leather its nicely done!

I very much like this bag. It is sturdy and make of excellent quality materials. I have used it for a week or two frequently and it is holding up great. My only gripe was with the bungee cords as they were too short and I had to purchase some from the Canadian tire nearby. After you get the right bungees, you're golden. The bag is more expensive than some other bags but the material on the bag itself is very sturdy and the build quality is superb. The bag is a little expensive but the quality is excellent and once you get your own bungees, The bag is great!
