I like how the unit mounts to the belt keeping it stiff so you always know where it’s at. I like how it latches shut so you don’t snag a branch while climbing but I wish it could be latched open for easier use when in and out of the holster. Not sure that it’s worth the price because it is the only one I have used. Good product though

The Transporter is THE most expensive accessory carabiner known to Man. Is it bomb proof? Yes. Is it extremely well designed? Yes. Can it be locked closed? Yes. Is it 100% secure on your saddle? Yes. Can you flaunt it in front of your co-workers to make yourself look good? Yes, yes you can. Will it last forever? In my industry, "forever" means five years or less. Truthfully, I've heard of only one incident where the Transporter got broken, but that was due to a serious accident, not the fault of Rock Exotica. The Transporter will give you many years of service without fail. Hey, even if it only lasts five years, then it cost you $16/year, or $1.33/month for those five good years where you felt superior to your co-workers because you sported a Transporter, when all they could afford were those cheap plastic carabiners!
