It took two tries to get the right size. I'm 6', and the previous reviews show people getting mediums. I do have a 33/34" waist, and when I got the medium, I felt like I wouldn't be able to have children after a couple of rides. Getting a large solved this. The waist was still snug, but the overall cut was larger. Now, I can wear these UNDER regular shots or by themselves as meant to be worn.They are VERY high quality. I did a couple of rounds at the LBS's in the Boston area before purchasing these, The Lycra is soft but supportive, the fit is great, the chamois is padded more and less in specific areas (which is great for those of use who have differently shaped bodies, and the rubber on the inside of the thighs has held these shorts in place tremendously. The sewing on these is great as well. Overall fit and finish is top notch.Though a little on the pricey side, I will gladly pay for a high-quality, American made product that will last a long time. Since this item will get significant use up until the winter time here in New England, I will update as necessary if need be.

I purchased these shorts for my husband who does a daily bike ride to work, and up until recently, occasional long rides on his days off. Over the summer he decided to prepare for a 100 mile bike ride. After his second ride of about 30 miles, he found these shorts and asked me to order them.He is thrilled with them. He is tall (6'2) and is only about 170 lbs. He doesn't have much padding of his own, so the built in padding makes it much more comfortable. Even after his 98 mile ride, he had only the slightest soreness. He loves the shorts, and the size is perfect for him, fitting snugly but not too tightly.They washed nicely and I hung them to dry and they kept their shape.They are a great value for the money! We would definitely recommend these shorts to other cyclists.

These shorts fit okay but after reading all the other glowing reviews I was expecting incredible results for my 30-50 mile rides. About twenty miles short of incredible on the 30-mile rides. I realize that I may need a different seat and maybe should have started with that. Maybe it's naive but I thought even if the seat isn't a perfect fit, the padded shorts would make a lot of difference. I've found that the loose-fit padded biking shorts work as well.

Rides are more comfortable; fits well; keeps muscles warm. I would give a 5 star but the padding needs to be more toward the buttocks: way to far in the front.

My first bike shorts and I am very happy that I finally bought a pair. These are similar in price and comfort to the ones I tried on at my local bike shop. The quality of the material and construction appears to be solid. I'm very happy with them, but if I had to give some criticism it would be that the waist sits too high.

Ok, so everyone thinks that anyone who rides a bike is small and thin. Well for those of us who are on the "big" side we too like to ride bikes and lose fat while enjoying the sport, but it's hard to find biking pants that are padded in all the right places for us too. Well gentlemen, here is the answer. I have bought 3 pairs from this company and they fit well, are well made and are padded in all of the right places! I highly recommend this company and their product. I don't believe you will regret the shorts or the fit.

This product has much to recommend it except for one feature that limits it's usefulness. Although the fit and materials are good, the pad is too thick for certain kinds of riding positions. Although it's pad is anatomically cut, and the overall thickness can be comfortable, the pad bunches up in the front when riding in a road bike position. Discomfort and chafing results. Would recommend this product for a hybrid or mountain bike. Fine for riding in upright position.
