I bought this lamp as I wanted something that didn't take up much room on my desk. This is perfect for that. The spring loaded arm moves as you want it to, it doesn't sag and stays in position with the locking nut, the lamp will swivel also. The magnify glass is okay not the best but depends what you want it for. I don't do detailed work so it is ok for me. I can use it to thread a needle so good enough for me. The lamp is very sturdy and all moving parts are firm. It doesn't weigh much and is quit happy sitting on edge of desk with no damage to the desk. The Light has ten yes TEN adjustments on the brightness from bright to hardly on in my opinion this is perfect light settings. It also has THREE different light moods tones. I always use the daylight setting but only on half brightness as I use it to the side of my computer. I think this light is very functional and I am really happy with it. I have had this light a year now and had no problems what so ever the light does not flicker or alter in anyway. It is a really good buy and well worth the money. I would highly recommend this light. I’m so happy with this purchase, i do a lot of close tiny crochet and alway struggled to see, I’ve bought other magnifying gadgets in the past which were a waste of money but this is the best-it’s very sturdy when fixed to my table, flexible doesn't get in the way of my working and the three light colour’s are good at different times of the day with brightness control

So far good product One niggle it doesn’t remember your settings so you have to set it up again every time.

I bought this to solve a single problem: I couldn't see to tighten the screws at the hinges of my reading glasses. It is great for that but I am glad to have it permanently clamped to the side of my desk. It is better than my reading glasses for threading a needle. A couple of days ago one my glasses' lenses fell out. I thought I might need to glue it back in but the lit lens soon revealed that there was a captive screw closing the metal loop round the lens that had worked loose. Another easy job with a 1mm jeweller's screwdriver. This product is useful in a wide variety of situations and I wish I had known it existed ten years ago.

This has 3 colour modes, it is very adjustable for me, as I do a lot a of adult coloring. The magnification is very good. Being flat glass, does not distort if angled. 10/10

I went for this one as they all looked the same and were all about same price. Arrived today, working as it should. For price a good bit of kit. Obviously not built for life but it’s defiantly not rubbish. Lamp nice and bright and lense clear and works well. Would recommend over ones that are twice the price. Clamp looks like it will last as long as it’s not constantly removed. I like to do these reviews honestly as they help me when looking for an object. Hope this helps. Would be a 4.8 / 5 so take my 4 as almost there.

I used this product as a lamp while working from home to provide good light on my keyboard etc. I also use the light when painting small plastic models. The 5x magnification really lets me see the detail I need. The 3 different light colours are also a great feature. I did find the initiial assembly a small bit fiddly but once done the product was very sturdy. Overall I am very pleased with this product.
