Top Vibrant Watercolor Techniques

Soon Warren does amazing watercolors -- but I didn't feel that this DVD did a very good job of explaining her techniques. This is a personal opinion of course, but timing, the amount of water on the page, etc. have a profound impact on the final quality of the watercolor and none of this is explained very well in this DVD. Sometimes watercolors become so second nature to an artist that something lacks in the pedagogy... a bit like trying to teach someone to whistle for the first time, I suppose. However, if you already are an accomplished watercolor artist, this DVD may be helpful.

She is an amazing artist but the demonstration portion of the book or the videos isn't the greatest if you want to see how she gets the results she gets. I'm glad I purchased her books and videos but I've purchased others that had much better demonstrations.

This video is amazing! I had no idea watercolors could look so realistic. I hope my attempts at painting like Ms. Warren teaches will turn out so good. I enjoyed it so much.

just ok. I was expecting a lot more than a beginner video. Was disappointed. She talks so dryly also but she is fantastic as far as talent goes. It shoed me very little of what I didn't know already.

This DVD was good. Wish it was longer.

This is a second CD that I bought and gave to my friend who loves to paint. The author is credible talented.
