This is a good size for one / two people who like coffee. 3 good mugfulls of coffee when filled. I like the stainless steel because I’ve broken all of the previous glass ones quite soon after being bought, so I’m really happy. It does keep the coffee warmer than glass ones and it’s nice to look at. The strainer is great, I haven’t had any problems like other reviewers, it doesn’t buckle/ crease and it loosens easily to clean. No complaints about how it operates, I like that you can turn the lid closed after pouring coffee as this keeps the air out and the coffee hot.

We decided to invest in a better quality cafetiere because we were tired of cracking and breaking the glass beakers in standard models, and because we were looking for one with better heat retention. This one has proved entirely satisfactory so far. The filter plunger fits well so there are no grounds escaping; it pours well with no dropping; it cleans easily. Its weight is well balanced and it feels good in your hand, like any better-than-average product should. The 8-cup, one litre size makes about three mug-sized servings and the double sided stainless steel keeps the coffee hot for about an hour. Overall we are very pleased.

Ich habe mir diesen Kaffeebereiter gekauft da ich ihn zum Beispiel im Urlaub auf dem Camping Plätzen gebrauchen kann.Der Kaffeebereiter hat eine schöne Optik und ist auch sehr stabil.Reinigung ist auch kein Problem es lässt sich alles schnell abwaschen.Einziger minus Punkt ist der Geschmack des Kaffees. Der ist natürlich nicht mit dem einer Maschine zu vergleichen. Dennoch macht er seinen Job gut und für unterwegs reicht es allemal.
