Awesome! I love it. We taped it to a drone just to see if the WiFi would work and it worked great! So happy with this product.

Very poor construction. I had my first one replaced due to an issue with the waterproof housing button keeping one of the side buttons one the camera pressed. The button on the camera required almost no pressure to activate. My replacement was fine until I used it for a little while on vacation while Kayaking and now it is exhibiting the same behavior.

If you want quality you always have to go with the best. did not want to spend the money for a GoPro and I try to go for something less, well I got what I paid for. the microphone sound on this product you can hardly hear anything at all, the only way you can function this camera video is true downloading it on Wi-Fi via cellphone or computer and still the sound you can barely hear anything. Very low playback volume.dont waste yr money.

No one will wonder what it is when they see it.Like many generic action cams, the ThiEYE distinguishes itself by the button placement and functionality. It took me a minute to figure out. Good thing there were instructions. Thank goodness. It is the most well-written pamphlet I've read. Trust me, they are usually in broken English and impossible to understand. This one is professionally written and clear as day.Too bad ThiEye doesn't come with a carry case. About half the generic action cams do. It's really a matter of preference, but I like having something to carry all the accessories. This one has all the basics, including a pouch for the cam, but no bike mount.The waterproof housing broke the first time I used it, but I've used exactly the same type of housing on my other generic action cams without a problem. The vendor sent a replacement, which I used for filming in the fish tank and all around town. The new one truly is waterproof and works just fine.There is an app for ThiEYE, but I opted to use an app I always use for my generic action cams. The Wi-Fi connection disconnects at a very short range (two feet), but the cam will keep rolling. Short Wi-Fi range and lag are a problem with many Wi-Fi action cams, which is why I never use them when available.Vibrations really show when filming, and it's not good in low light. Outdoors without vibration, it works great.Really and truly, the ThiEYE is no GoPro, but it is comparable to other generic action cams in terms of capability.This product was provided for review by ThiEYE.

NO REAL ACCESSORIES available. Has "car mode" that requires it be USB connected during use, but no way to attach USB cable while mounted! STUPID!

The media could not be loaded.  do love this camera however there were was a few things I had to knock it down for. I'll start with the bad and then we can move on to how awesome it is. Keep in mind this is an action camera its main purpose if for videos and mostly in outdoor use. Also this is a fish eye lens.That being said the photos are nothing really impressive. I have tried multiple lighting, changing the exposure and all other kinds of settings. No matter what I do this doesn't take very good pictures up close. Up close pictures tend to be blurry, words unreadable, and just not a good picture. Far away pictures are decent, they aren't the best but they will do. You still need really great lighting to capture a good picture. I think this might have something to do with the fish eye lens. Since you can't change it, its really nothing you can do about it. If you are just trying to use this camera for long shots and video you'll be fine.The second thing that bothered me is I love all the accessories it came with except for the cases. The water proof case as a well as the open case you can't hear anything while video. The most sound you get is a muffled very low quality sound on the video. I thought that the open case would help but it didn't . Where the mic is located does nothing for the openings in the back of the case once its closed. I tried looking into buying a different case but I couldn't find anything for this specific camera. However when the camera case is open or you don't have one on at all you can clearly hear and there is a great sound quality coming from it. So you have to compromise between protecting your camera and being able to mount with with sound on your video. This was very disappointing.Now that all the bad stuff is over lets move on to the good. I love the video quality. The video is crisp and clear with every video I take. It picks up fast movement really well without blurring. I spun around In a circle and I could still see everything clearly. It does tend to blur and distort with very close up video but again, you are using a fish eye lens so that can't really be helped. The lens is very nice though for video ,it gives you an incredibly wide shot that is not distorted or weird looking at normal range.With outdoor lighting this picks up incredibly well on colors and definitions. It has a bit of a brighter color to it. Everything you video seems more vivid then it is. It helped a little to play with the white balance a bit and change it to the proper settings instead of leaving it on auto.The camera is pretty straight forward to use there are only 4 buttons so its not hard to figure out. The thing had most trouble with what the app. There is not much explanation for it. I had to really play with it to see all of the features. My hardest thing to figure out was how to connect it so pay attention.... You need to turn off you phone WiFi connection first, because whatever it is connected to will hinder its ability to turn on its connection for the camera. Once its connected though its really easy to use.So my favorite feature of this is that you can change the setting for the camera in your phone, rather then going through the hassle of doing it on the camera. Which can be frustrating and just a pain in the butt. Especially if your like me and press the wrong button all the the time. On top of this you can control the recording and pictures from this device. You get a bigger screen to work with. Its much easier to use especially when its in the case and you don't want to take it out to view pictures, download them or change settings. Not that you can't do this in the case (besides download pic) but it is much easier this way.This is my first action camera and for the price, I was very happy with what I got. I do hope they fix the sound issue with a different case but for how I can deal with that. I might even consider a different brand of case even thought the buttons wont match up I can use the app for all that. So if you are looking for a action camera but don't want to pay the action camera price I highly recommend this. I've had so much fun with this. I am posting a video of some things I have used this for but please keep in mind that it will be highly compressed so it will actually upload to amazon. There for the video quality will be less then what it actually is.I received this product discounted in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.
