Very nice slippers. I took the advice of other buyers and ordered a half-size bigger than I normally wear (9.5 instead of 9). That made the length OK. The toes are a little narrower than expected, but have begun to stretch out to where they're comfortable. However, people with wide feet (D or wider) will find them very tight.

The slipper itself is too flimsy. The sides are too soft. The soles are too soft. The picture here shows a heel. There is no actual heel-just a built up area. I bought the slipper a half size bigger than I normally do. I'm glad that I did it. This slipper is not going to last for in-house use. I would not recommend buying this product to any one.

I bought these for my husband for Christmas. He's normally a size 10, well those were way too tight. I then ordered him an 11 as there are no half sizes. His one foot is slightly larger and that one fit well, but I then had to purchase some pads for the back of the slipper and he had to stack two of them to fill the gap. A 10.5 would have been just perfect. The slipper has a great look, but had the sizing been better, he would have loved them.

I bought these slippers several weeks ago and took another reviewer's advice and ordered them a size larger than my shoe. They fit fine with about 1/2" to 3/4" space at the big toe. Due to the design (and my wide foot) my toes don't travel forward, and my foot doesn't travel inside the slipper . My normal shoe size is a 14 EEEEE and I ordered these as 15 EEE. The slippers were a bit stiff when I got them but got soft in a couple of weeks of wearing. I'm wearing them now, and they feel fine....April 2013 update to above Jan 2011 Review..Lowered from 4 stars to 2 stars:I've had these slippers for 27 months and when I bought them I wrote the above review which was originally 4 stars. Maybe I'm expecting too much from a $42 pair of slippers but as these slippers reached the end of their useful life I realized why the leather is separating from the seams and why the toes and heels have opened up and are spilling stuffing all over the carpet. The reason is that the slippers are actually composite felt slippers with a covering of micro thin leather.The actual leather that covers these slippers is thinner than the thinnest paper. As they age this leather coating breaks away from the top, side and bottom seams and starts to separate from the felt. It's also the reason that if you use them to get your mail, contact with a concrete walk will scuff the leather right off the felt.I don't know if Evans slippers were always made this way, I've been buying them since I was a teenager. But this is the last pair I will buy.I'm presently waiting for a pair of all leather, leather lined moccasins with smooth leather soles to arrive to replace these slippers... They cost 3x as much, but I'm hoping they last at least 3x as long.

I was very pleased when I received the slippers. They fit and were comfortable. After I started wearing them, however, the leather linings and inner linings came out and I could not get them to stay in. Frankly, I am rather disgusted.

I have been purchasing this model of slippers for couple of decades, yes they are that good. I wear them in the house almost everyday. I usually get about a year and a half when the bottoms begin to wear through. I typically wear a sneaker and shoe size of a10.5 wide. These slippers do run small, so for me I order a 11EEE. also I do wear socks with these slippers. They are a great product with excellent quality construction.

I really wanted to love these slippers. I bought them for my husband, a serious slipper addict, and had high hopes based upon their initial fit and style. I mean, these slippers look great! They look like the old fashioned, classy slippers that men used to wear back in the day. Unfortunately, they fell apart after a few months. The soles started to wear away and began to come off the bottoms. These were pretty expensive to only last a few months, even with heavy wear. The Inexpensive slippers my husband purchased at a bargain store lasted much longer. I won't purchase these again.

A pesar de haber comprado anteriormente un producto similar pero en talla 9M, el cual me quedó muy ceñido y no pude utilizar, al ver sus recomendaciones antes de comprar el presente producto, que en lugar de decidir por una talla 9M decidiera por una 9.5M, fue correcta dicha recomendación. Ahora tengo dos artículos, uno talla 9M que no utilizo por su estrechez y otro talla 9.5M que me ciñe perfectamente.

These slippers are very comfortable and fit well. Only problem was when they wore out and we went to order more they had gone up substantially in price. Will need to wait for a sale. We were happy to see that they were available in a size 7 which is not easy for find.

If ordering this you need to make sure you order 1/2 size larger than your normal size. It fits small. The other reason l returned it was because it pinched the top of my right foot too much. Nice slipper but it did not work for me.

I ordered size 11, which is my usual shoe size (in fact 10.5 will sometimes do me). At first I thought that the tightness would pass as the leather became more supple. This did not happen, and I got several blisters. For these slippers order a whole size greater than you normally buy.

Stitching between sole and upper failed and fell apart after a few months. Wife super glued back together. Soles wore through and have holes. Only worn inside. Only worn in fall/winter season.

One foot was loose than the other.It is over priced. The only reasonable price is for a size 11....and who wears that??The price should be the same, regardless of the size of the slipper.
