OK, but here's a strong suggestion to avoid problems.
The OEM idler arm snapped one day so I installed the spare and ordered this aluminum one which I thought would solve my problems for good. It didn't work out quite that way. The screw that attaches the idler bearing came loose and the bearing fell out of place. Somehow this caused the lower bearing to also slip out of place and then the stepper motor shaft ground the lower hole in the arm out of round. Amazon is replacing it, but here's a suggestion. When you buy the arm VERY carefully add a little threadlocker blue in the threads for the bolt holding in the idler bearing (the one that presses against the filament. You must of course make sure NOT to get any threadlock in the bearing itself. Hopefully the second time around will be the charm. If this part actually came with any instructions I'd suggest adding this tip to them.

Not for Artillery Sidewinder X1
Not made for Artillery Sidewinder X1. The pivot is machined differently from the original so it seems to fit but because it can't go in all the way everything is loose. On the original there is a second machined lip and that lip is 5.1mm deep. This new one only has one lip and is 3mm deep. It is 2mm shallower so the plate that covers it can't be screwed in correctly. When I tried running it, some filaments didn't line up correctly and the whole mechanism is loose.

Nice Sidewinder X1 upgrade.
The plastic tensioner is prone to break at the bearing holder due to insufficient plastic. This upgrade is much needed and very recommended for this printer for peace of mind.

The roller bearing screw comes loose mid-prints, look for better design that doesn't screw it on
Look at the pictures. You see that screw holding the roller down? Yeah - 4 prints in it came loose completely. Now about 20 minutes into a print the screw vibrates loose and extruder stops working. Find something else. Yes, I could use threadlock and hope for the best, but I don't want to.

perfect fit
great upgrade to my sidewinder x1, don't have to worry about snapping the plastic one any more

It’s an inevitable MUST HAVE for the sidewinder X1
So far works great. Both of my sidewinders are printing perfectly again. If you own a sidewinder X1 and can’t figure out why your prints are failing and/or under extrusion is a major issue - you should probably buy this part for your printer ASAP.
