Great light, works well and looks classy.
We got this to change out the light on our front door. Seemed like an easy change, I've changed out outlets. I did run into a huge problem is that the old light was built into the rock on the side of our house. This was definitely not an easy change. But once you get over our own personal problems, the light fixture itself was great.Pros:Sturdy - Not flimsy like some.Detailed - No sharp edges like some of the cheaper light fixtures.Maintenance - Easy to change out the light.Illuminance - Large glass windows allow for plenty of light.Bugs - The tight construction didn't allow for months to sneak in to die. That is a problem in our area. It's nice not having to clean out bugs.Cons:Nothing really. Though I wish I had realized how hard it was going to be to change out our light. I could have spent a bit more time examining the light. I just thought it would have been planned to be replaced. Still, that has nothing to the light.

pluses and minuses
+'s bought in April 2020 and the packaging was great. Cheap cardboard buffers and there was a lot of it, even INSIDE the glass between the glass and socket. Very well built, it's heavier than I expected although the glass panels are thinner than a typical window glass. One might clear silicone the glass panels to the metal cage if water seepage is a concern, the panels fit tightly but not to seal. Wiring was adequate.-'s No instructions so it took awhile to figure out how to remove the cardboard buffer inside the glass (the bottom is glass as well - you can't just reach in and change the bulb). There are two TINY screws under the top lip that secures the whole metal cage and glass panels to the top portion of the lamp. Difficult to unscrew unless you may have a 9" tiny Philips head screwdriver BUT with patience, the two screws came out and the inside of the lamp was accessible. No mounting hardware (!) so I had to scrounge. It wired up fine... mounted it to the wall... installed an Edison bulb... and THEN I had to put the five-paned glass box back on messing with those tiny screws and trying to align it just right. Whew! Hopefully the LED Edison bulb will last a very long time because I don't look forward to removing the glass box to change the bulb anytime soon.Bottom line is the fixture looks great, is sturdy, and I guess for the pricepoint it's a good deal. I would look at other similar fixtures before buying this one again, but I bought it to match a hanging fixture that's similar.

Well made, one small issue with glass clamps...
I like the design look of this light, it’s very well made and heavy. My issue lies with the glass panels and the way they are secured. When I opened the box one glass panel had shifted and came loose inside, some small pieces of glass had broken from edges and I had to locate the rubber clamps and place them accordingly under the small metal clips which are easily bent allowing the glass to potentially slip once again. I loved the look and quality, I simply wasn’t a fan of the way they choose to secure the glass panels. The last issue I had was the tiny screws at the top of the housing which must be removed and the entire glass box must be removed from the mounted top to allow for bulb placement/re-placement, therefore you are removing the entire glass panel box each time you replace a light bulb, I believe you might be able to modify the bottom by removing the bottom glass panel, however they small rubber feet which hold the panels into place my become unstable and the mounting system may be compromised by this, I’m unsure. I hope this review was helpful, please see the photos for greater detail. I’ll post another photo after installation. Thank you

Came With Broken Glass
Before even opening the box I hear the glass. After opening one of the sides was broken and the others all loose with the tabs, I guess to hold in place loose inside and out of the lamp. The unbroken glass was had rough edges, chips and appeared to be a quarter or three eights to small for the frame.Metal work appeared to be very well done only to fall short on such a detail as the glass. On the upside it was to be installed by the door inside our open carport meaning water proof is not a factor so not all is lost. I'm sure others are not so lucky.

Made well, throws off allot of light, easy to change bulb
Very nice looking outdoor light with clean lines.I like that when the bulb goes out, it’s soMuch easier to just change By putting your hand underneath the opening and to unscrew the old bulb, put new one in.This throws off allot of light. It was easy for my unhandy husband to install.5 stars

Not all that was hoped for…
My son and daughter-in-law (who wrote the following) continue to upgrade their condo. As indicated, this was still considered an upgrade, but less than was hoped for:This outdoor wall light, with lantern design, is visually generic. The mechanism by which the glass panels are held inside does not allow them to be positioned securely. Due to this, it would be easy to inadvertently break one while installing or replacing the light-bulb. The greatest challenge with this item, are the poorly written instructions. If the electrical box in the wall is not orientated correctly, this unit will not install easily. Because of this, we had to do a modification for installation. Due to the minimal material and use of clear glass, this fixture provides ample light for the back patio. Two stars but reasonably priced.

It's pretty...and a pretty big pain
Received this and was VERY excited to replace it to match my doors. Its beautiful! It's well made. mostly. The plastic tabs that protect the glass from the metal.. well they don't work very well.It comes with NO mounting hardware. On top of that, the bolt placement does not match a typical junction box.My solution was to use two bolts and some wingtip nut and holding the bolt at the same time as the box and finagling it through enough to attach to the nut.Once installed, it is indeed beautiful.. I just hope like many have said to never have to take it off ever again.
