Great ankle weights for those with small ankles!
I've been wanting to buy ankle weights for a while for helping me stretch further into my straddle. Finally gave in and decide on the Virtee adjustable ankle weights (10 lbs pair). There was a sale so why not. My friend also bought ankle weights but told me she received them because they were too big on her ankles and slide around. I am so glad that the Birtee ankle weights stay put and does not slide. I have pretty small ankles and was able to wrap these around my ankles tightly. I love that they are also adjustable. I can take the weights out. My boyfriend wrapped both ankle weights around one ankle/leg to do some balancing exercise. He likes them. I hope they are durable and the velcro stay sticky.

Very Serviceable and well designed
The design is good. It is easy to put on with one hand because the Velcro trap is long and wraps through a good metal loop. The strap is long enough to hold this 5# weight tightly. It is weighted with pouches of sand which allows the weight to flexibly encircle a wrist or ankle.

They work well, but may cause some discomfort during vigorous workouts.
06-2022 EDIT:I had to give up and give these to my mom who is doing physical therapy for her leg. They were bruising my ankle so badly, I just couldn't do it anymore. I opted for another style of ankle weight that doesn't hurt me. Otherwise, like in my original review, they work really well and are of a solid construction. I just can't recommend them for activities other than sitting in a chair and lifting your foot or /maybe/ doing slow, easy step-ups. That's about it.-------I've been using these for a little while when I do my walking workouts (the Leslie ones). I started at two pounds per leg, I'm now at four as of two days ago from this writing. My only real complaint is no matter how tight I crank those straps down, they tend to loosen up about halfway into even the three mile walk. I usually have to stop and crank them back down. It was particularly bad with only two of the little sandbags in there. The three pounds it seemed to be a bit more balanced and wouldn't spin as bad, but now with four in there, honestly, they aren't comfortable at all and doing the five mile walk workout tonight was pretty brutal. I had to stop several times to adjust them and then I finally had to just tell myself no pain no gain and keep on going. I feel like my ankles should be bruised, but I'm afraid to look.I think if my workouts weren't so vigorous with kicking and jogging and kickbacks, etc, they'd probably do okay for just walking in the park. But I'm going to continue using them, because I like the added weight and the construction of the weights themselves is solid. If I remember, I'll update any changes when I get to the full five pounds per leg... perhaps having all the sand bags in there will help balance it again like with the three pounds.

They have easy-to-use rods for weights.
I like the product. It is simple and easy-to-use with velcro straps to make adjustments.

SEEMS WELL MADE
These cuff weights were just what I was looking for. They seem well made and are easy to use. I don't use them for walking or running, so I cant comment on that, but for just leg weight lifting they are great. Very strong Velcro. The weights slide in and out of the pockets with ease. Only problem i see, and it is a very minor problem is that everything is black and so sometimes it is difficult to find the end of the Velcro to remove the cuff, other than that they work great!

Several Problems
There are several problems with the design of these ankle weight:1. The units are too long to fit snugly around my ankles. I had to remove one of the weights to get it to overlap itself so it would cinch up tight.2. The velcro is also too long. I cut about 4” away.3. The strap that holds the buckle is made of velcro itself, so the strap wants to bind to the buckle every time I insert it through the buckle loop.
