Can I apply this on makeup sponge

I don't think it would work on a sponge as it would only clean the surface and not deeper inside. It's designed for brushes.

Do you just spray and leave this very astringent product on the brush after cleaning?Dont you run the risk of allergic reaction or do you wash it off.

There is a very simple instruction provided with product. It says you need to leave it to dry otherwise can cause different skin reactions. I know one makeup artist been using it without raising brushes in water, I tried on myself and never had any issue, but make sure you leave your brushes at least 12h to dry, and yes - you spray product directly to brush and clean it on towel

Can it be used for cleaning a flat-topped brush that is used for applying liquid and cream foundation?

Yes. I use it to all my different shaped brushes.

Can this spray be used on cream blusher?

Would definitely not recommend it. This product is strictly for brushes. If you want to disinfect your cream blush (or any other makeup products) use Isopropyl alcohol in a tiny bottle spray, let it dry, then use as normal. Hope this helps!
