Fan Did Not Work - Received Defective Fan from Amazon Wires Were Cut
VERY disappointed. Bought the fan 31 Oct. Tried to use it 14 Dec and it doesn't work. Looking at it I realized the wires had been cut. Not by me. This is how Amazon.com Services LLC sold it to me and now I have no recourse.

Had to return because of noisy motor
I liked that it was touted as made in Canada, but I assume the motor component was a cheap chinese import. It was so noisy I had to return the item - and that just added to my dissatisfaction. It took FIVE WEEKS from initial order until I was finally notified I would receive a refund. Granted, some of that time was on my end repackaging and return-shipping, but since no free return shipping was offered I was not going to spring for expedited shipping back to them. So in the end I still do not have a fan to move the warm air away from my stove and I ended up paying return shipping. The only reason the overall rating is two stars instead of one is customer service was generally pleasant and at least I am getting the purchase price refunded.
