Hotter than expected
Picked up a bottle of this yesterday from a local grocery store in Utah, USA. The bottle says the heat is "medium", but that must be based on a different point of reference than is typical for USA/Canadian sauces; it is hotter than Pace's Hot Picante Sauce.It has a lot of vinegar flavour with lots of smoke. You can also smell a hint of what smells like worcestershire sauce.I like this sauce. It has the heat of Tabasco sauce with a much richer consistency and a bigger flavour: where Tabasco is just hot, El Pato Chipotle is hot with other tastes, too.
