Fit just fine and blower starts ok

Poor quality product. Plastic so cheap within 3 dozen pulls cord had cut a 2 inch slice through housing. Now recoil spring is worn out. All this in less than 3 months. Having to buy another but will spend more for Echo brand. Lesson learned trying to buy cheaper.

I figured I needed to keep the old screws, and that was the case. Be sure to keep the hardware from the old part as this items does not come with new screws.

broke after three pulls on the blower , junk had to buy the manufactures right coil.

In one pull the spring came off its total garbage.

Purchased for my Echo 250LN blower. As far as ease to install and that this part does fit, that is all I can say that is positive about this recoil starter. On the first pull, the string ran through the handle. Had to disassemble and get the line out, cut the cheap tiny knot off, run the string thru the handle and put an American made knot on the line. After a few pulls the black plastic collar for guiding the string came off and clings to the string. Now the string is slicing the body open on each start up of the blower.For what this part delivers, I would value it to exceed $5. If it were that price I would buy another one to act as a "spare" until I can get a real recoil starter.The seller got it to me the next day but this is a product review and not a sell review.
