International Concepts Tall Shaker End Table, Unfinished

I bought this to match one I bought last year because I like unfinished wood without the toxic finishes. The workmanship is perfect, it is solid wood with a high quality grain. Excellent.. Everything I have made in Vietnam has a high quality, so now I seek out their products. This was a return in Amazon Warehouse so I saved some money for a great product. I appreciate whoever worked on this. Thank you!

Bought this for our new printer. Needed something pretty as it's in our living room. Great table

Very sturdy,easy to put together. I had bought the wrong size the first time around and decided to keep them maybe use for kids night stands. As you can see in the picture, I put them underneath the larger ones like a nesting table. Anyway, I cant wait to either stain or paint, they are the perfect size for anywhere. The smaller ones I bought from the same company and are just as sturdy and easy to put together as well and were around 35 dollars.

Bought several pieces of International Concepts unfinished tables for key areas in my home. My home is very natural with earth tones, granites and wood and this went great with everything. Had a couple issues with the hall table and had to replace 2. First one split right away (I think due to moisture from shipping?) and second one had a very odd knot that created a unpleasing look to me. Even with these issues, they expedited and handled the returns in an extremely fast manner. I got 1 replacement like the next day! They handled it fabulously! The designs themselves...beautiful. Great craftsmanship, solid and very well built. I sanded mine down and did a shiny clear coat. In fact, I have several other pieces in my wishlist that I plan on getting soon to complete my look. I would highly recommend these unfinished pieces at a fraction of the cost. Since then have had many compliments on them. A little elbow grease, a coat and you have a piece worth at least thrice the amount purchased. How can you go wrong?

This is a very nice quality table. Very sturdy and well made. I was able to assemble it quickly by myself, just screwing the legs into the table top.

It's pleasing to have a solid wood table. That being said, the grain in the wood is odd. I used a pecan stain (medium brown) and it picked up funny little marks in the wood that were not previously visible. I think if you used a very dark or a very light finish or just a polyurethane, or painted the table, you would be happy as a clam. Or if you want a medium finish and are looking for that rustic, insect damaged look, you might also be happy. I am not miserable, just slightly annoyed that I have to either work at liking it or paint over. 5 stars for nice quality and potential as a painted surface, 3 stars for what it looks like when stained medium brown. Average is 4 stars.

Great little table, currently being used as a stand for a small aquarium. Stained, stenciled and lacquered to protect the wood. The only "complaint" (minor and not really an issue as the nature of wood is such) I had was that the wood didn't evenly absorb the stain due to the composite nature of the table top. So some additional staining was needed to smooth it out. If you're buying this table, you plan to either stain or paint it so you're already know that you want to make it "yours." Other than that, it was easy to assemble as the only thing you need to "build" the table is attach the legs to the top via a few bolts.
