Useless!
I had hoped this might work. Useless tool as far as I’m concerned. Can’t get it to start cutting through the shell of the coconut. Wanders all over the place. Going back to using my cordless drill with a 3/8” bit. Don’t waste your money on this. Currently in the Bahamas enjoying life.

Nice, easy to use, but start to have rust
It's nice and easy to use (sometimes easier to get into the coconut, sometimes need to use a lot of strength to push.) Since it's hollow with opening, it's easy to push the coconut skin out to clean. however, it's hard to reach the tip with the brush to clean and the inside of the stainless steel tube already start to have rust. I'm returning this.

just doesn't do the job
It's much faster just using a sharp knife, and hacking around the edge, this little device just doesn't have o power to penetrate the coconut. and electric drill would work better.

Metal is too weak
This is too weak to piece young coconut, it bent on the first use.

It does not work as expected
By twisting, it will not go through the coconut. To actually penetrate, you need to use a hammer.

Finally, I don't have to risk stabbing myself trying to open a coconut. ...
Finally, something to help me get at the coconut water/milk and insides without stabbing myself. I used to have to get the drill to get into them or crack them on the ground. No more! This is the perfect tool to get at the goodness inside the coconut. Makes a great gift and is made very well.
