Whatever age you are, just buy one !!. This will help you to find your "pre-Covid" smile. Zoom, zoom, zoom .. the speed & stability of this Jouef Junior edition TGV is truly fantastic fun. A great package containing train, track & controller, just remember that you need an EU to UK plug adaptor if you want to play "Choo Choo" straight from the box, hahaha. I'm enjoying my second childhood early, at the age of 49 years. "Le Fat TGV Controlleur" is well "chuffed"... choo choo 😂😁

I can't believe that Hornby has put their name on this product! So annoyed as this was a present for my son's birthday and it doesn't properly work. I have requested a replacement purely because my son was begging me to and not to get the money back. Think before you buy this as so far it either works or doesn't and there seems to be only one speed and that's fast! The tracks themselves are so flimsy and don't hold great! I mean I am so glad I've not brought him a £500+ Hornby train set now!

Loved this TGV train-set, fantastic detail, easy to set up and get going. Note does come with French plug and will need adaptor. Highly recommended.

I had read some reviews of this train set that mentioned the controller is a bit mickey mouse. Could it be? From Hornby? Where they just unlucky? Sad to say no. The controller did not work and it looks like something from your local pound shop (sorry, doing pound shops a disservice here, theirs might of worked).

I received a box that had already been opened with the piece of the set missing!!

Arrivé dans les temps ( pour une fois qu'un train arrive a l'heure....)En revanche, le train a marché 2'30".

TGV Duplex inouï

La finition est plus que correcte, par contre le moteur est trop faible (vraiment à la peine avec une petite pente et les 3 voitures) et le régulateur de vitesse trop imprécis. Certes un jouet pour enfant, mais je m'attendais à un peu mieux.
