I'm normally a hands on learning kinda guy but its a Great book to learn from...there is a lot of knowledge in it...id give it 5 stars if it had more colored images not just black and white bc some images are hard to make out at times...

The manual has lots of information, over 700 pages of it. Covers a number of two-stroke motors so you have to move around to get the information on your model. I like the diagrams which are draft drawings and not pictures of some dirty engine that you cannot make out the details. Includes specifications, tear-down, rebuild, adjustment/alignments and trouble shooting. Breaks down each system individually and explains it's operation. Definitely worth the money.

Covers a broad range of basic procedures. Has some good information, you just have to take the time to sit down and read.

My motor is a 1986 and that is what I thought i was getting most everything in the book is for later models

I bought this book for my husband. He was happy with it. It was a great help in helping him get the motor running again.

As a mechanic you can never have to many books on repairs. I combine both the Clymer, Shop Manual,and experience over years. I find everything I need from this book and is a great example to read prior any maintenance. I highly recommend to any do it yourselfer out there.
