These things take the place of 4 tools ya need when your moving around fishing lite on your feet. Great deal, made well. Very cool!

Broke the very first time I used it and unfortunately for me the return window is closed. Do yourself a favor and look for something a little more heavy duty. This thing is a piece of crap.

I used these for sockeye fishing in Alaska. They work well to cut line, compress sinkers etc, but not so much for removing hooks. The end of the pliers are too flexible and will bend and slide past each other anytime you have to really use force to remove a hook. Also, there is no way to attache a cord so you don't loose them. In the end, they did the job and were inexpensive.

These provide everything you need in a pair of fishing pliers with nothing you don't need. The pliers operate smoothly, feel comfortable in my hand, and look like they are built to last. While the jaws open quite wide, when the pliers are closed they are small enough to slip into a back pocket or stow in the top tray of my smallest tacklebox.I would note that while these are stainless steel, no steel is completely rust proof. These will eventually rust if not cleaned after being exposed to salt water. To make them last, be sure to rinse them in fresh water and dry them off after each use. It would also be prudent to protect them with a quick spray of tool lube a few times a year.The only change I would make to these would be to put a hole in one of the handles so that I'd be able to attach a wrist lanyard as these are too nice for me not to be nervous about accidentally dropping them off of the dock or over the side of the boat.I received a discount on my purchase of these pliers in exchange for agreeing to test them out and provide my honest review of them.

Works great. Have used it many times. I do normally maintenance on it (cleaning and oiling after every trip and no issues.

They are in my tackle box and I have used them on several fishing trips. They are well made and very useful.
