My son is hooked on rescue bots transformers and he really wanted heatwave. This is the perfect gift for a 4 year old who is into transformers. It’s easy to transform from a fire truck into a rescue bot. Holds up to lots of rough play and easy enough for my 4 year old to navigate. It’s the perfect size for little hands. Would make a wonderful birthday present too.

I have been so happy with this toy for my four year old. Heatwave is durable, easy to transform, and looks good. We got Heatwave as a Christmas gift for my son. Nine months in, my kid still plays with the toy every day and takes it everywhere, and Heatwave still rolls well and transforms easily. We are big fans of Rescue Bots and have added to our collection because Heatwave was such a great toy. I was a bit skeptical of the simple transformation and lack of motion in the limbs, but I was wrong. Being able to transform Heatwave simply and quickly is a big win for my son—he has a slightly more complicated Bumblebee, which is also beloved but causes some frustration. The people who designed this toy did a great job. Also, it’s a small thing, but I really appreciated the simple packaging. The world needs less throwaway plastic.

My 5 year old son loves transformers rescue bots. This was a huge hit for him. It was easy to transform and a good value for the price.

First of all, this is a great toy. My kids have six of these rescue bot toys (Heat Wave, Chase, Boulder, Blades, Bumblebee, Optimus Prime), and they love them all. They are easy to transform, so are good for kids aged 3-7, but probably not much older. I've found my kids like more of a transforming challenge as they get older. These are really sturdy toys and can take a beating without breaking.The reason I gave four stars instead of five is because of the box. We bought they toy this time around to give as a birthday present, and the box itself is not what you'd find in a store. It looks kind of industrial and uninteresting. This wouldn't have been an issue at all if the toy was for my own kids.

Heatwave is an amazing addition to our growing Rescue Bot collection. We absolutely love his 'Power-up and Energize' water canon. Heatwave is one of the easier bots to transform, and once our 3-year-old figured it out, Heatwave was quickly going from vehicle mode to bot mode, complete with boy-added sound effects in a matter of seconds.While the Rescue Bots are not as complex as some of the other Transformers on the market, we love them because of that. They are easy to transform so we are not constantly having to 'help' our son when he is playing with them. They are well made, and hold up to some very rough play, just be aware that after playing in sand for any length of time, they movement of the bots is impaired and they will require an adult to wash out the sand/debris and possibly require some light disassembly.Again, we love Heatwave, and all his co-bots. This was a great purchase, and I highly recommend this version because of his water cannons.

I even have fun with this toy! LOL I got it as a christmas present for my nephew who is 3.5. He loves playing with it nonstop. I didn't think it was going to be such a hit but it is. very fun!

These bots are the best! The other versions are much smaller and more breakable. I purchased these exact ones four years ago for my nephew and he still has them. I’m hoping these hold up just as well for my kiddos.
