An excellent cultural and historical introduction to La Liga clubs
A delightful book, not a book with screeds of results but a historical, social and political look at the development and influences on the La Liga clubs. With a lot of interesting asides about the the clubs histories (many started by English and Scots expats) it explains the development of La Liga football through the turbulent times of the early 20th century with some of the characters involved.
