TGA Duo Wheelchair Powerpack - Blue

The media could not be loaded.  I bought the Powerpack Duo, double wheel. Had this for about a month now, and so far so good. It's powerful enough to deal with any kind of "about town" walking. Other than making sure the chair doesn't tip backwards, the person behind doesn't have to do anything in terms of pushing it, even up the steeper (within reason!) slopes. It says you need to let the battery run down as much as possible early on, in order to charge it up fully, in order to give the battery the best life long-term, and we're still in the middle of doing that, so I'm not sure exactly how long it will go for in the end, but currently it handles about 3 hours of going around the local area before needing a charge. It handles going on grass etc just fine, although I try to avoid that as a general rule as I assume it's a bit more of a drain on the battery (to be clear- it does it completely easily, so you can definitely go across the park on it, but it just feels like it would drain the battery a bit more, is all). Overall, as I said it's still very early days, but this has already given us some of the best time outside we've had together since I started using a wheelchair, so I can't say I'm anything but really happy that I found this.Update: 4 years later still enjoying it very much and the battery once charged holds for a very long time even if not in use.
