I love this hat! Until now, I have never been able to find a straw hat that fits comfortably on my apparently large head. This one is near perfect! Adjustable, stays in place well, cute. I wasn't sure which color to choose, but so glad I went with the black. Goes well with my swimwear and skin tone (beige straw hats often make my fair skin look too red and splotchy).I've already worn it to the beach and pool multiple times since I received it, and it's holding up well so far. It's great for reading outdoors on a sunny day.The velcro is sufficiently strong, and I appreciate that the sticky side faces away from my hair instead of towards it (I have a different straw visor whose adjustable velcro strap always gets stuck in my hair. Ugh!)I love that it's open on top, too, as I usually wear my hair up, especially in the summer heat, and this allows plenty of space for a ponytail or messy bun.So glad I found this!

I use this hat while outside everyday. I've had it for over a year and it's still in good quality. I love the coverage it gives my face and still allows me to keep my head up. The Velcro to adjust for my larger head is the best part. Also the Velcro being made to look like a bow still keeps the function pretty looking.

The brim size is perfect! The quality has lasted me years! The ability to wear my hair up in this is everything. & the portability is genius! I’m buying another because I wear it so much it it’s not as black anymore. I also went cheap and bought some from other buyers and it’s just not the same. Buy here!

I ordered this hat because it would serve the intended purpose of keeping the sun off my face and out of my eyes when I walk the dog. The wide brim is wider than I expected, but that’s likely my mistake by not better measuring against my current hat. It catches on my shoulder if I turn my head which is a little annoying but I may be able to manipulate the straw to avoid that in the future.The Velcro closure could be longer. I am a petite woman, but typically “average” size hats fit me great. This hat I had to adjust smaller and there’s hardly any Velcro to hold it shut. It looks like about a 2 inch stripe is all you get. I would whip a few stitches in it to hold it in place, except that would defeat the purpose of a roll up hat.The material feels quality for the price and my hat was essentially without any major flaws In craftsmanship. So that’s always nice.Overall, I’ll keep the hat despite the fit issues, but I don’t buy another of this style in the future.ETA: I’ve decided to return the hat. The fit issues and the shoulder catching has me taking it off within minutes of putting it on. A sun hat doesn’t do much good if it’s never on your head.

I love this hat! It's built in rubber band wraps around my ponytail so easily. Looks great and stores easily! High quality material.

Perfect sun hat, just know, you need something for your neck, but it’s super cute and covers the whole face and eyes good!

The brim is much wider than expected. Great for sun protection but I feel like a clown.It comes with an elastic loop to easily roll the hat up and pack. This is a great feature except that the elastic loop pops out every time I put the hat on and I constantly have to tuck it back in under the hat.I cannot get it snug on my head. It was extremely windy out and I constantly had to hold it down. It even flew off my head a couple times. Instead of Velcro in the back I wish it was elastic so it would stay on better.I purchased this hat to wear to the beach but if it flies off in the wind I don’t see myself being able to use it.

I love the look of a cute straw hat when on a beachy vacation or at the resort pool. But I always want to wear my long hair up in a bun so it doesn’t get wet, so that kind of hat is never an option. This hat offers the same amount of sun protection that a “normal” hat would, *and* allows me to have my hair up in a high messy bun. FINALLY! And the fact that it’s adjustable with Velcro is a major plus for me since I have a big head. It rolls up and would pack easily, which is a huge plus. The bow in the back is just the cherry on top, it’s what sold me on this hat.Some older reviews say it doesn’t have a strap, but mine came with a strap you can clip on/remove as needed, so they must have made improvements since the older versions. An absolutely perfect hat! I’m going to order one in black too!
