Gave as a gift to a 4 year old, he loves it!

My nephew has a little daughter in Mexico, and my Spanish is minimal. When I learned she was coming to visit for Christmas,I wanted to get her a Christmas gift to bridge our communication gap. She was absolutely delighted with a toy that spoke her language, and it was wonderful watching her interact with this adorable puppy. One of the best Christmas presents I ever bought!

This is the cutest toy dog. Quality is exceptional. Colors are vibrant and rich. Works beautifully as advertised. This is a gift for my grandson. He requested this toy for Christmas and I was so happy to find it at Amazon. Shipping on this toy was so quick and efficient. I just ordered it! It has already arrived! I am so excited for my grandson to open this on Christmas morning!

I got this for our one year old grandson who likes our dog and announced that he wanted his own dog for Christmas. So far he seems to be very happy with the substitute dog, and his mom is great full we didn’t get him the live version.

My biggest problem with this toy is that there really isn't much to grab/hold on to if you have little hands, except for the dog's tail. The tail is an ideal handle and one that is frequently used. However, if you pull on the tail, the dog stops whatever it is doing, makes a crying sound and says "Oh, no! Stop that!". As it turns out, is is a very easy, sure-fire way to get the dog to do something predictable and so my 1 year-old seems to like to do it. I think the idea was to teach kids not to pull dogs' tails, but if anything, it may be backfiring.As far as I can observe, saying that he "responds to touch" is a bit of an overstatement. We live in a world where capacitive buttons are overly used and so this description lends me to think that the dog has several capacitive buttons on its body, but really it has one regular "physical-push-buttons" on its back, (and maybe one or two others here and there?) and then the nose and tail are also buttons and respond to stimuli. As talking toys go, this one is mildly annoying--I've had much worse in the house (for short periods of time before they made their way out via trash or donation), but we also have many that are much better (I reiterate my comment on the tail pulling... that gets really old really fast).Overall, not a bad toy by any means, but not really my favorite, either.

The media could not be loaded. Very good toy, strong, fantastic, great for any and for infants. Do not continue checking for little cheap gifts, this is the best one. Just buy and you are going to be satisfied
