Department 56 Snow Village Halloween Midnight Fright Light Animated Lit Building, 10.83 Inch, Multicolor

I fell in love with Dept 56 Halloween Village houses and figures. I have several houses and dozens of figures and accessories. I plugged in the Fright Night and within 5 minutes the main light inside the Jack O lantern stopped working. I am extremely disappointed as it was a rather pricey item. Another piece I bought stopped working after a year, the Swinging Ghoulies..it no longer spins. I’d recommend steering clear of motion items in the collection as they aren’t easy to repair on your own if at all.

The first time I plugged this item in it worked fine with the head spinning and everything lit. The second time I plugged it in there was a popping sound and that was the end of the light in the head. There doesn't seem to be a way to replace it myself. The head still spins, but this building is nowhere near as fun without the main light. Looking at other reviews this doesn't appear to be an isolated problem. Very expensive building as well so I advise anyone looking to get this to do some research on it first.

I love this Halloween Dept. 56 piece. A little bigger than I thought, but part of what makes it so good. Delivered on time and well packaged. A must for your Halloween Village.

We've tried 3 times on this product. Dept 56 really failed on this one. Each time the lighthouse will light up once. the second it's plugged in it will not light. The product is sealed so it cannot be fixed.

Actually bought two of these and gave them as gifts to my daughters. They are both quite pleased. Five stars for quality but four stars for the price.

Looks great. Great addition to the collection.

I bought one of these and returned it because the head would not turn or light up. The returned and replaced it and the head turned but still would not light up. Dept 56 seems to be lowering the quality control.
