Needs actual substance.
I usually finish just about any book that I start on, but it was clear from the start that this one needed to spend more time being edited and bringing actual implementation of what it was pitching into play. The first glaring example of this for me was on building brand personality. In between explaining how important picking and maintaining one of a handful of types of brand identity was, the author listed five and explained them in the absolute most basic way possible, between two or three sentences, and never brought them into play again. If you're considering this book, I would advise you to look towards a more fleshed-out alternative, or literally just a wikipedia article since you'd get more meat there. Also, the back cover alone tells me the editor, if there was one, was more than willing to overlook basics of proofreading.

Love this book on branding
Before I started reading this book I never knew how to use my brand in my marketing companion, the only thing I always thought about is the marketing part how to get people in the door, now I know that having a meaning to my brand gives my company a reason to fight for peace and equality and justice also giving people the chance to know me thanks.

This book is short yet it is packed with effective and practical information in different stages of brand building, brand development, and brand management. This is a must-read book for all marketers and brand specialists.

Great book on overall branding strategies and elements!
I noted many great points throughout the book. I liked the specifics in strategy and tactics. I wished their was more in social, online, and guerrilla tactics/examples. Because of their unique mediums there are varying ideas they could expressed. The book is best for people seeking a condensed exposure to overall elements in relation to branding.

Everything you need to brand
l really how the author laid out the book. It was incredibly informative and very easy to read and understand, especially since he used examples! I am currently in the process of a complete brand overhaul and this book truly made it a smooth transition. Thank you!
