NYC SHOVEL YOU NEED.
Truly gets the job DONE! Not the most compact if you have a tiny car like me but worth the sacrifice in real estate for those surprise blizzard months. I don’t have time to fool with cheap/small shovels. If you have “places to be” like me... get this & be done w it. Love that it comes in many colors. Unfortunately I was a rookie this past season and had to buy it when it was a hot commodity so I had to get whatever color came the soonest. :( I’m honestly kind of disappointed that I think it’s probably so durable I won’t ever need to replace it/have a reason to pick a color I actually LIKE! Haha 1st world problems.

Bought again
I bought this 9 years ago at a hardware store in Idaho during college after using some on for snow removal at a construction site. This shovel had become the go to for the company after we destroyed 5 other types/styles of shovels/scoops in a short period of time. It was lightweight, performed, and simply put the thing lasted. So I bought one for home... And gave it to neighbors when we moved somewhere warmer than the Idaho mountains. We had a 15 inch snow fall in Kentucky last winter, and so I bought another.Update: this winter we had another 15 inch snowfall and I was prepared for it. One of our neighbors was digging out a stuck vehicle on the un-plowed road and borrowed the shovel. After using it for a while he demanded to know where we found it as he wanted to buy some for his landscaping business.I recommend this scoop/shovel for snow removal without any reservations.

Great as a snow shovel
On the short side but otherwise just about perfect as a snow shovel. Bomb-proof construction. Snow never seems to stick to it and the leading edge self sharpens with use. Put some hockey tape or something else grippy on the shafts where you grip it as it can be slick with certain gloves. Cannot imagine this shovel letting me down.

Tuffy shovel
This is an awesome shovel! I was a guest at Timberline Lodge (Mount Hood-Oregon) over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.A big snow storm came through a few days earlier & covered my truck with 4 to 5 feet of snow. I borrowed a tuffy shovel from the guest services desk at the lodge. I proceeded to dig my truck out with the help of this shovel! I knew right then & there I needed one for myself. I contacted the manufacturer of the Tuffy shovel & now I own 2 tuffy shovels! I now keep one in my trucks ''tool box'' & one at home! They are NOT easy to find - to purchase. The factory was very cool & sent me one for no charge, because I couldn't find a retailer in my area. They are rough & tough that is for sure! The Tuffy shovels come in 2 sizes. I have the full size versions, and now all of my family & friends want one!

Great scoop!
This was a replacement for an aluminum and steel scoop. It continues to surprise me with its durability and light weight.
