CURT 40020 Chrome Trailer Hitch Ball, 6,000 lbs, 2-Inch Diameter, 1 x 3-Inch Shank , Gray

I used this on my dodge ram to tow a Uhaul trailer. Worked great. Was exactly what I needed. Good weight to it good size. A very quality part.Ive had it on my truck for about a year now and still no rust. It’s as shiny now as the day I bought it.

It's shank is long enough for my needs. I don't need a trailer hitch very often but it's good to have. It's rated for more weight than my pickup can tow so good quality. I like the chrome finish.

Cheaper than receiver and easy install fit perfect on bumper of 08 ram 1500 was only pulling a rental trailer from u haul but did the job twice don’t cut trailer too hard will damage bumper

Needed a longer than standard thread length to mount thick anti-sway mount. This worked. Chrome is rubbing through after 6 hours of use.

It's a Curt, so the quality is solid. I had a Curt 5th-wheel hitch and it was just the best, hauling a 12,600 lb RV. This was my SECOND attempt at the 2" ball because I added a Curt sway control bar adapter and the thickness of that plate plus the thickness of the hitch plate itself made the 2-1/8" shank too short. For safety, you MUST have threads showing below the nut when assembled. This 3" shank is perfect.

Easy to use, works perfectly. Worth the price, local trailer hitches were twice the price for a poor quality. Would recommend.

Works great, I needed a longer shank for a 2000 Dodge Ram. A standard size from Walmart was not long enough. This one works great!
