Worked Well on Both Shoe Sole and Work Boot
I used on both a pair of Sketcher Shoes that had a flap on the sole unglued, as well as on a Vibram sole of CAT work boots that were 10+ years old and take a beating. The shoe was an easy job and was back in business in 24 hours. The work boots had 3/4 of the sole unglued and I spent more time on them following instructions carefully. Just to be sure, I allowed a few extra days of setup before using them again. I have been using them for a good month now in every type of outdoor work situation and the boot is as solid as ever. So take your time in prep and follow instructions and you should have a good result. Also, wear some disposable gloves when applying as you are likely to want to smooth out the bead and dress up any oozing at the seam if you over-apply and want to avoid getting product on your fingers.

Good Solution For Shoe Repair And Preventative Care
I had a "shoe cleaning and repairing weekend" and finally got a chance to use Shoe Goo. I wanted to use this to help waterproof, and repair, a whole batch of shoes. Because I wanted to do delicate repair work, I bought some e6000 applicator tips so I could create smaller goo. And honestly, one should be included with each package. — APPLYING — To use, puncture the silver top with the cap, and squeeze. The goo comes out slowly so you don't overdo it, and if you are good with your hands it's easy to apply on your shoes. I used mine three ways: 1) sealed all around a shoe where the rubber meets the fabric, to help water proof it, and to keep the fabric and rubber glued together; 2) added layers of rubber to worn out bottom soles; I added three layers over time; 3) sealed any holes and cracks wherever they may be. This stuff initially cures fast; you literally have under a minute to scrape and make it look nice before it starts curing the way it looks. Learn to apply a little at a time so you know how fast this works. It takes about 24 hours to cure, and the packaging says up 48-72 hours for a maximum cure based on the materials it's goo-ed to and the temperature. Once it cures, it feels pretty tough and stable. If you wish, you could also layer on additional coats for extra protection and durability. — COLORS — I love having both a clear and black option. I used the black for my black-soled shoes, and the clear when I don't want it obvious that there is glue on my shoes. They both dry as a glossy finish. But once you start wearing your shoes and dust and dirt get on them, the goo becomes a matte finish and looks more natural. — SUMMARY — This is a wonderful product. It has brought old shoes back to life for more use, and that is what makes it worth it. Recommended.

Follow the instructions, have patience and have everything you might need ready
I started with the black shoe goo first. I have a pair of inexpensive black ballerina flats that I bought seven years ago and I figured I would toss them when they outlived their use. Fast forward to the present, I have loved wearing them so much, I couldn’t bring myself to toss them even though the sole has come lose from the upper on both and there are holes in the material where I over pronate. Anyway, this goo has revived them to where I can now wear them around the house without my spouse nagging me to chuck them. I would highly recommend to anyone trying this to ensure one has newspaper to lay on the work surface, two or three craft or popsicle sticks, disposable gloves and to work in a ventilated area. Start out with a thin light layer and use the sticks to smooth it out. Wait a couple of hours until it is no longer tacky and build another layer. After the third layer, I donned the gloves and shaped the last layer with my fingers to make the areas “pretty”. I also used clothes pins to hold the shoe upper and the sole together while the goo cured. After reading some of the other reviews, I’m excited to consider other uses for this stuff.

Great set that covers most of my shoe repair needs
My go-to shoe repair glue. Easy to use and creates a great bond. Very gooey for great coverage, I recommend using a spreading tool and adding some weight overnight for a good, durable bond. A wet paper towel for clean up and spreading helps. A very useful function to glue and add water protection. The tube is good for a set of shoes, any leftovers must be sealed up well, otherwise it will dry out and become useless.

Easy, trusted repair
Shoe goo has been a go to favorite for many years. I have a pair of hiking boots where the sole was separating from the shoe, I just applied the shoe goo , let it set overnight and now they’re just like new. Such an easy fix with a great product.

Best holding glue on Earth!
Even though it’s called “Shoe Goo”, it actually works on way more fixes than just shoes. For example…if you own a riding mower that’s more than a year old, the vinyl on the seat has pulled away from the frame exposing the foam innards. Until I found this product, I thought that I just had to live with it or spend $200 for a new seat. Well, if you put a generous bead of this along the frame of the seat and then clamp it every couple of inches, when you come back the next day your seat will be permanently fixed. Then you just use a hair dryer to remove the indentations left by the clamps! Great product!
