1-1/4" 3-Layer Acoustic Sound Damping Material with PSA 18 x 24

I lined a small network equipment cabinet with this stuff and it is almost completely silent now. Really works if you take the time to make it fit well.

Pros:This material is amazing and works great for speaker isolation. It's surprisingly heavy compared to standard isolation foam.The sticky/fastening surface on the bottom is convenient, but make sure where ever you stick it that you plan on not moving it... it's not easy to remove from a clean flat surface.Cons:Not terribly easy to cut, standard razor blades or scissors will not make clean cuts in this since it's 1-1/4" thick.Tips:You may want to buy a long blade box cutter or use one of those old paper chop boards with the chopping paper cuter arm if you want a clean edge when you size it.
