Sauder County Line Night Stand, Soft White finish

I'm looking forward to getting a match for it as soon as I can.It was very easy to assemble and screw holes aligned well. Had some initial trouble with the drawer because I tend to over-tighten screws - don't over-tighten the slide rails to the sides of the table and it works perfectly.The bottom shelf unfortunately doesn't meet the legs entirely in all 4 corners. Small gap. But really not visible unless you're down on your knees really looking at it for some reason.The handle did not match the picture, as someone else noted, and that did annoy me because I did want the silver. But it's not a big enough deal to me to take points off.I do really like it, and I look forward to getting it's match. Wish it was a touch narrower or they offered one that was, but all told, a nice little table.

I purchased 2 of these and they arrived in a few days. The outside packaging was solid - materials packed snug with Styrofoam squares, wrapped, with corner box protectors. Over the last 20 years or so I've put together about 10 furniture pieces such as shelves, tables, desks, etc. I would consider myself between novice and intermediate. This was easy to assemble. Although not all parts are labeled, the instructional pictures are drawn so clearly that everything was easy to identify. It took me about an hour to put together and the end product is sturdy. While I would love an end table made of solid wood, they just aren't in the budget for what I prefer to spend. These Sauder nightstands are remarkably solid given the low price. I did have problems w/ the drawer sticking, same as others. But, I looked through the reviews again until I found one that suggested ensuring the drawer-slide screws are screwed in snug. Went back and adjusted the screws and now the drawers slide easily. It was literally only about a half turn per screw. If you are having trouble, try this. Hopefully it's a simple fix like mine was. If you are looking for a solid nightstand and a ridiculously low price, these fit the bill.

My girlfriend and I moved into our first house, so we needed all new furniture for our master bedroom. After reading some reviews and looking at their products, Sauder seems to have the best quality furniture for the price. The materials are very sturdy and the finishes look great. Some pieces can be challenging to assemble, but look amazing when completed. The instructions are fine as long as you read them very carefully. My one and only complaint is that some parts are not labeled well or consistently. Some parts get big stickers while others just have a small letter written in sharpie on an unfinished edge.This nightstand is a great addition to our bedroom and really provides great storage space. It looks great especially when paired with the Sauder Country line headboard in the same finish. It was a little tricky to assemble because the front and back legs looks similar, but have to go in very specific places, so read the instructions carefully. I recommend looking at the picture more than the actual words to figure out which piece is which and exactly where it goes. It is very sturdy unlike some put-together furniture. Overall this is a great nightstand and is perfect for someone who wants the look and feel of expensive hardwood furniture without paying the price.

Shipping was very fast from the seller. There was damage to the side of the lower shelf panel, but it was on the back/bottom where no one would look so I didn't worry about it. Construction was very easy, took me about 20 minutes for each of two nightstands using a powerdrill. There were some alignment issues with the pre-drilled holes on one unit that kept the upper table top from sitting perfectly flush with the four corner posts, but there is no wobble of the unit itself. With the drawer in place, you really can't even tell (iIm just a neat freak and try to build these things perfectly). The veneer is textured and looks very elegant. It has a matte finish to it and resists glare from sunlight. But I don't think it will hold up well to moisture. I'd recommend using coasters if you have to place drink glasses on it. For the price, I'm very happy with these nightstands.

Overall, the look of this night stand is great. The quality of the kit was good as well. 4/5, not 5/5, for two reasons: First, both of the stands I bought had some kind of sawdust residue stuck fast to a few random pieces in the packaging. Luckily it (mostly) scraped off with a plastic scraper, but still - it's brand new and white, so just about any residue will stick out pretty badly. Second, the stand is parts-intensive in the assembly department. There are over 50 pieces of hardware to this little stand! The instructions explicitly say NOT to use a power drill, but I highly suggest that you use a drill - just be SURE to use the drill's clutch - I set mine at 3 or 4 on my Craftsman 19.2V drill and it worked perfectly with no stripped screws/blown out particle board.

Especially for the money, a very cute nightstand! I’ve pictured before and after pics; you can see all the pieces right out of the box. I couldn’t have put it together! But my husband is a home remodeler so he found it pretty easy but it did take about half hour/ 45 minutes to complete. We bought 2; one of them sent us the wrong table leg but my husband was able to drill holes and make it work, thank goodness, or we’d be waiting on the correct table leg. I did let Sauder know and they emailed me back within the hour that they’d send us the correct leg, but I told them we fixed it but they should be more careful for the next customer. But overall I do love these tables, just what we wanted for our guest room.
