Bassets Murray Mints 193g (Pack of 6)

Seriously. I know that my headline is kind of a bold statement...but I have quite literally been all over the world, and I really enjoy hard candies. I've purchased them all over...from specialized candy shops to train station platforms. And by far my favorite hard candy is Murray Mints. I seriously adore these things. The taste is a nice combination of creamy and sweet and minty....but not too harshly minty. Just right minty.I first encountered these tasty morsels on a trip to the UK in 1994. In 1995 when I went back to the UK, I purchased several bags and brought them back to the United States and rationed them out to myself as if they were the only food that mattered. Any time any of my friends or family went to the UK, I gave them money and begged them to bring me back some Murray Mints. In one company I worked for, I had a colleague in the UK, and when she came to the HQ office in the US, she routinely knew to bring me some of these.Now, I can buy them on Amazon. They are not super cheap, but for me, they are a bargain. I can purchase 6 bags at a time and have them whenever I like. Don't even have to ration. They are my treat to myself and I'm so excited to have a regular source of these fantastic candies.

I learned these while watching an English drama on Acorn TV. One of the characters offered another Murray’s mint, stating that they were totally Addictive. On a whim I ordered these and determined that that statement was in fact completely correct. Please don’t tell my dentist, but they are additive, creamy and sharp at the same time. At this writing, I’m on my third round of ordering.

Melt in your mouth deliciousness! I have ordered these about three (3) times and my church family LOVE THEM! I place them out on a table where our coffee pot is set up and by the end of our 2nd service very little remain.

The first time we found these mints was in an Irish store in Kirkwood, Missouri. They handed out samples, from which we ended up buying a bag there.Fast forward, I ended up ordering a box of six bags of these!The creamy (buttery?) mint flavor is really quite pleasing. They’re not overwhelming at all.I highly recommend these Irish wonders!

This product is just like I remembered it as a girl in England. My Mother loved Murray Mints we used to buy them lose from a jar in a local corner shop, at least twice a week I would run to the store to buy a quarter of a pound for my Mom. They have a unique taste that really satisfies. Dry mouth problems are resolved as soon as you have one of these, don't bite them just suck them to release all the flavor you need to satisfy.
