X when working on my bike, the Loctite Blue 242 helps secure bolts nicely. It stays in place but still comes off when I need to remove parts later. The medium strength is just right for most jobs around the house and in the garage. The 6 ml tube is small but lasts through multiple projects. It does what I need without any hassle or mess.

I have used this for more than 40 years. Always works. Easy to apply (More is not better). A slim stripe along the threads will do the best and will permit you to break the seal, with some effort. Whatever threads you "locK" will not unthread due to vibration or stress but can be unlocked, if needed. Especially effective on loose or worn threads. A little bit goes a long way. I usually apply it to the threads sparingly for best effect. If you want the threads to permanently NEVER come loose, use the Red. Have always had a tube of this around for the last 40 years. No need to overtorque (tighten) and risk stripping threads or breaking a bolt.

Haven’t had any issues. Tip needs to be cut, be ready with a wipe for a little pressure release upon opening. Will update if anything changes.

This stuff is amazing. My table and chairs were wobbly and screws just kept coming loose. After putting this on the screws and tightening them, there has been 0 wobble!
