The Wonderlands: Darkness & Dawn

I'm a Switchfoot newbie & this collection (The Wonderlands) by Jon Foreman is truly amazing. He is so incredibly talented!

Excellent music. Simplified and well written. My teens really love Switchfoot and missed this collection of Johns independant work. They liked it right away. This music is a great addition to the crappy musical options that are othwise pushed in the faces of our youth. Wish that this was more mainstream but perhaps thats why some like it so much.

From his first solo sessions "through the seasons" to this project of 24 hours, he has remained tremendously creative and true to the core. But I must admit, the dawn cd in this set, might be the absolute best of the bunch. Nothing like saving the best for last. Now thats just my honest opinion, so...to each their own. Enjoy!

Jon's solo work has been honest, raw, intelligent and musically unique. This latest release is the best yet. He has taken all of his previous elements and added lush, thoughtful production touches to the material. A must have!

Anything by Jon Foreman = awesome. Thoughtful and thought-provoking lyrics.
