AlgoneAquarium Water Clarifier and Nitrate Remover, 6 Filter Pouches

I have used these for a few years now. Its simple and helps keep fish healthy.

We have a small tank in the house with some frogs. There was an algae bloom and when I asked how much they are trying to feed them, it was about 3x what it should be. This did help clear things up and the frogs weathered it ok. It also took a couple 50% water changes. I tried telling them that they really don't need much food, but where in the fun in that I guess?

After many different water changes and other products that didn’t affect the cloudiness and high nitrates and nitrites in our aquarium, we came across this product. It took two packets to completely clear and balance the tank. Awesome product!

Honestly into the third week with these and using more than recommended number of packets. Not really any noticeable results.

I’ve been using this product for years. It keeps my tropical aquarium crystal clear. I just put it in the back of my filter canister. Behind the charcoal filter and leave it in there for couple of weeks. Lot less maintenance since starting algone. Love those little pouches. Thank you for a great product. K
