Excellent quality and versatile
This simple tool turns out to be the most versatile tool.Easy to dig small hole for small plants or seeds. Measure for digging. The weight is the key. Makes easy digging on compact dirt. High quality polished metal and nice wood finish. Grips nice.I plan on buying another one for another location. Best value.

Broke first use
I purchased this for my husband for a Christmas gift. Spring comes & he is excited to put this shovel to use in our flower bed. Saddly the blade snapped on the first try. He was terribly upset & I'm thoroughly embarrassed. The blade looks & feels amazing! The sheath is crafted wonderfully. Id give this tool 5 stars from looks & feel alone. Very disappointed it couldn't hold up.

Do not buy! Won’t last!
Do not buy! This supposedly durable stainless steel blade snapped in half four years after I bought it. Scroll through reviews - others have had the same thing happen.Amazon needs to allow zero star reviews.
