Nasogel for Dry Noses 1 Oz

I’m pretty happy with this NasoGel from NeilMed. I was looking for an alternative to petroleum jelly (since it’s not ideal to use too much of that in your nose), and this has been a great option so far. The first time I used it, there was a slight stinging sensation for a second or two, which I’ve read can happen—especially if your nasal passages are already irritated. Since it contains saline, that makes sense. I’ve been using it each evening after my shower, and it’s been working well for me. One thing to note is that it’s water-based, so it doesn’t leave that constant moist feeling like petroleum jelly. At first, that felt a bit strange—almost like the opposite of what I expected—but once I got used to it, I realized it still helps create a protective barrier and maintain moisture. There is a slight scent when first applied, but it fades quickly and doesn’t linger, which I appreciate. If you’re switching from petroleum-based products, it may take a little time to adjust, but it’s worth trying. The price is fair, and it works well for me!

Works really well to keep nose from drying out in the winter with heat at night.

This is a solid product, as have been all the other products I have tried from the NeilMed company. We use their daily sinus rinse, earwax cleaning kit, etc. This is a wonderful solution to dry noses and sinuses from using indoor heat in the winter. If you use a CPAP at night, even with a humidifier, your nose can still get very dry. A quick swipe of this in your nostrils before bedtime really makes it more comfortable. I have not noticed a smell of any kind. It does not take much of the product, so I think it will last a good while. This is a bit easier to use than the NasoGel spray, just wipe the top clean, cap it, and you are good to go for the next use. It’s not expensive so it’s a good value for something that just provides additional comfort.

This stuff finally makes my nostrils comfortable when extremely irritated. Otherwise I have to hold a wet washcloth over my nose for hours. Saline spray, Ayr nose gel, and Vaseline still irritate my nostrils, but this stuff does not. I read in the reviews that some people say it turns white but that has not happened for me. If it would turn white I wouldn't care because I'm finally getting some relief! The alternatives are way too expensive. There is no need to spend that much money when this is available. Nice cooling effect. The applicator sucks. Use a q tip. You'd think they'd have gotten the message by now.

Still not sure of the whole aim here. Supposed to be helping keep nose moist, but in a very short time turns into white crusty stuff. Uhhhh, not impressed.

This has made a BIG difference for me. I live in Colorado- dry, dry climate. I have been getting bloody nose for years, multiple times per day. My acupuncturist suggested I try this to moisturize the sinus. It works terrific!! I have bit had a bloody nose since I started using it. I am so happy I found this.

I bought this for my dry sinuses as saline spray doesn't keep the inside of my nose wet lomg enough. I opted for the saline gel as living with no moisture in the nose is a nightmare, the gel keeps moisture in the nose longer and actually provides relief, so i would buy again.

Although there are many negative feedback, i am quite lucky that i got my delivery the next day from ordering!
