Lovely Advent Wreath. Substantial enough to merit the tall tapers but not overly bulky on my crowded Advent/Christmas table. Enough space in the center for a large pillar candle (our home version of the Christ candle) and a 3" metal nativity. We also have an angel candle snuffer I found at the antique store - the children love taking turns playing acolyte. The carvings and passages are appropriate for each week of the season. Highly recommend anything from Abbey Press.

I really like this advent candle holder because it has Scripture verses on it. What I did not anticipate was receiving candles with it. I had bought another set. That turned out to be good because one of the candles was broken when the set arrived. I think that the weight of the wreath caused the breakage during transport.

I needed to replace our Advent Wreath that my husband managed to break after one year of use. He thought it looked bent so he tried to fix it and the metal fractured, because it was too thin and brittle. So no metal wreaths for us. The other option available on Amazon was one that almost every review said was purple. Not attractive to me so that one was out. The only option left was this one. As the reviews said, if you are looking for wood, the resin does not pass as wood. After reading the reviews, my expectations were low. Advent had already started and I wanted a new one fast, so I ordered it. To my surprise, while not wood, it is still attractive. It is also sturdy which was important to me since I do not want to be buying a wreath every year. It will serve its purpose and we're satisfied.

This looks nothing like the picture! I thought I would be a wood look. The one I received looked all tan and plastic looking. No warm wood look at all. Uneven jagged sharp spots sticking out. Returning.

The item is heavier than I thought it would be. That's great. Also, I love the scenes and verses on it as well. I'm very happy with this product.

I had to return it which was disappointing. The picture on the product is much nicer than the actual item.

not KJV verses but still very beautifully well done and sturdy

It arrived with a chip on it which I quite easily glued back on but the writing on one of the sides is partly illegible due to imperfections in the glaze or paint. So disappointed since it’s otherwise a beautiful piece.
