Excellent quality, lovely flavors, and safe for me.
I bought these because I need an interim habit to help me stop grinding my teeth after getting through an intense period of stress. If I'm focused on chewing the gum, I can't simultaneously maintain the habit I'm trying to break. The quality of the product is impressive. It feels far better than any other gum I've used in the past. The important factor that guided me to this brand was a need for a product that does not utilize aspartame. Even in small amounts, I start getting nasty headaches with migraine-level pain after a few days. As an aside, the amount of aspartame in Diet Dr. Pepper gives me one after just one accidental sip. This gum not only avoids the pitfall of the 'danger ingredient' for me, but chewing it feels more natural and less nasty even after the flavor begins to fade. So far, I've only tried the maple flavor, and I'm satisfied with how long the flavor lasts and the mouth-feel of the chew. I know some reviews mentioned the flavor fading quickly, but so far I find that it beats the conventional gums I've had in the past in that regard. The flavor is crisp and fresh and leaves my breath feeling improved in scent. For the cost I paid and the amount I got for it, I'd say it was worth every cent.

Love it
Simply gum has a simple mission - real gum, real ingredients. It's great. Real gum - As the legend goes, America learned about chewing gum when General Santa Ana was taken prisoner. He chewed chicle, a dried sap from a tree, to calm his nerves. Somehow, the trend took off. Simply Gum uses real chicle. You may know Chicle as the ingredient that gives Chiclets brand gum their name. Real ingredients - The ingredient list doesn't have any weird chemical names or trade secrets. The ingredients are always a chicle base with natural flavors such as spearmint and a little sugar. That's all. Really good - So far I've had the maple and coffee flavors. Coffee flavor really does taste like fresh coffee, although the maple flavor really tastes more like brown sugar to me. Both are delicious. Flavors last a good time. I define a lasting flavor as anything longer than about 30 seconds. This gum holds up fine. Past that point you're chewing it to work your jaw, so flavor doesn't really matter. Real chew - Chicle has a great bite, which is unrivaled by any modern formulation in my opinion. The only problem with chicle is that it can "stick" ever so slightly to the teeth, which means it can be a nightmare for anyone with certain dental appliances. Definitely try a pack before you buy in if you ever have problems with things sticking to your teeth. But for pure chewing pleasure, chicle rules. Real packaging. The gum comes in a printed cardboard box. That's all. No foil wrappers, no plastic strips. It's just recyclable cardboard. There are also wax papers included. These are less common for Americans so you should know they're a polite way to dispose of used gum so you don't have to touch it. It's a nice thing to include. The catch? Simply Gum is expensive. I think they're 100% worth it. I keep swallowing my gun so far, which I always do when I love the flavor of gum. I keep thinking it's candy and want to reach for another piece. What about sugar? Won't it rot your teeth? Some people complain about sugar in gum. This is only a problem if you (like me) are prone to swallowing deliciously flavored gum like candy. The point of chewing gum for dental health is three-fold. One, you work your jaw muscles to promote proper function. Two, you can dislodge food particles hiding between your teeth. Three, you scrub off some of the sugars and bacteria which can hide on teeth and turn into plaque. Chewing gum with natural sugar still does all of this. So long as you chew it about 30 seconds longer than the point when it loses its sugary flavor, you're not really leaving any residue. Your saliva breaks down the sugars, the gum massages any remnants off your teeth, and you swallow the evidence. Just chew your gum completely, and enjoy that lovely chicle bite.

Simple ingredients, good flavor, NO CORN (probably?)
I really enjoyed this product. Some of the flavors were not to my taste - but not because they were bad, they just weren't my own personal favorites. That said, my teen daughter LOVED the ones I didn't enjoy, like the coffee and ginger flavors. Here's the thing with this gum - I can't do corn in any way and most chewing gums have some sort of corn byproduct/derivative/whatever (Sorbitol, Xylitol, etc.) I prefer not to have artificial sweeteners, which, again, most gums these days have. I'm not a super stickler about putting stuff I can't pronounce in my mouth, but a gum with only 5 easily recognized ingredients, (*probably?) no corn products, and no artificial sweeteners really appealed to me. (*I say probably no corn products because while most vegetable glycerin is coconut, palm, soy, I haven't really researched this particular brand to know for certain that is the case with this product.) So here are the trade offs, and yes, there are a few: The gum is harder to chew than most of the chewing gum products out there - at first. After a bit, everything softens up and is just fine. This isn't a huge thing, but it definitely is a little off putting for the first 45 seconds of chewing or so. The flavor is pretty solid - not too strong, not so weak you can't tell what flavor you're chewing, but it does fade far more quickly than with "Natural and Artificial Flavors" type gum. This said, I am not an all day gum chewer - it's usually something I do after dinner to either freshen my breath or maybe settle my tummy, so it's not a huge thing. It loses flavor, I toss it, the end. Either or even both of these really only knocks a half star off, if that. So why only 4 stars? Anyone else in their 40's who was raised by their TV will remember the "Freedent's the one that takes the stick out of gum..." jingle. I never really understood what the big deal was, but then, I didn't have my first cavity until I was 41 years old, so, yeah, I never had any "dental work" for my gum to stick to - and guess what? This gum definitely sticks to dental work. I only have one filling, but I have to remember not to chew this gum on that side of my mouth too much or I do get weird strands where the gum sticks to the filling and stretches out back to the gum wad. It's not a huge issue with one filling, but I wonder, for someone who's had more extensive dental work, if this would just be a nightmare. So yeah, that knocks down the review stars a little more. It's not the end of the world, but it IS annoying and for someone else might be even worse. Overall, yes, I will continue to buy this product based on my own preferences and needs, and yes, I would recommend it for others who have similar needs/preferences.

Very little flavor.
Very little wintergreen flavor; lasts 2 minutes. Nice chew, but husband says it sticks to his teeth.

As the title says, this is great to help keep my mouth moist as I have BMS. I also have Salicylate intolerence, can't do peppermint or fruit. A good solution for both issues. Tastes good. The texture is different, but fine
