I can't say enough good things about the customer service from Bryan at SuperMats. What initially seemed like a potentially nightmarish experience--he completely turned it around for me and I highly recommend this business as a beacon of longstanding integrity.I think I bought my first mats from SuperMats probably 13 years ago, for a gym I was outfitting in Maryland. Nice mats, had no problems--because I wasn't married. Ok I'll explain.Flash forward 13 years, I am married, and it turns out my wife has a very serious and rare anaphylactic allergy called a paraphenylenediamine (PPD) allergy (seen commonly in hair dye communities) and I am unlucky enough to order the ONE type of mat carried by SuperMats (SuperMats SuperLock Heavy Duty Weightlifting Mat Black) that happens to contain this chemical.She had bad scary reactions to the mat multiple times over the past year but it was hard to correlate--and when we figured it out, I had to literally pull up the mats and scrub the room top to bottom, just to make it non-lethal and usable to her.Well despite having never encountered this chemical allergy before, after I explained the issue, Bryan took me at my word. He was gracious enough to not only investigate the manufacture of the mats for me, but also to refund me almost a year after my purchase. I am sure this is not a common problem, but I am also pretty sure the mat will be labeled with a warning from now on.The way they handled this messed up experience shows a real commitment to customer satisfaction and safety. This is a solid business that has been in operation for over 30 years and they have sold a lot of mats to a lot of people, and I highly recommend them.

Update 2020: ordered three more boxes in one order. Shipped via UPS. two of the three were delivered to my door (the address I gave). The third was transferred to my rural Post Office for in person pickup. That’s annoying. It’s bad enough that in good times, “next day” delivery for Prime shipments is often closer to a week where I live. In the COVID era, it’s completely unpredictable.############%Original review:Bought one box as a trial. They seemed great, so I ordered a second box. 5 of the 6 pieces in the second box were noticably thicker than the six inthe first box. They dont lay flush... the difference is enough to be annoying and potentially cause you to trip.(Now I have these two layers deep, and they lay flush).

Love the mats. They feel great and can stand the impact of dropping bumper plates.

These mats are durable and easy to assemble. I keep them under my bed with a collapsible weight bench. I can fit the pieces together under a minute. They dont stain the carpet. The interlocking pieces stay together through a variety of exercises.

I searched high and low for good quality rubber mats. I ordered and returned so many mat sets that said they were for exercise rooms. These are the real deal. Solid rubber! None of this 75% bottom foam layer and 2mm worth of rubber laminate. You'll know you got the right kind of mats when they are delivered. They are HEAVY. Easy to put together and fantastic quality. I just ordered an additional 3 sets to finish out my workout area. Stop looking and get these.

I lay this in the floor of one my closets where we store diving equipment and other items that, if dropped, could break/chip the ceramic tile floor. So far, it's worked very well. I've not noticed it "creeping" as it gets walked on. It's a good product.

Started out ordering one or two sets of these for my gym floor, and ordered more and more so it is completely covered now. Obviously, I recommend them. They are nice and thick. I could drop a lot of weight and not worry about dinging the tiles under them. They aren't exactly cheap, but worth the investment so I don't have to retile a floor if we sell this house. I even cut several of them to fit a corner area and that was easy with a razor blade knife.

Definitely heavy material, doesn't slide around on my carpet (living room doubles as workout room). My husband loves working out on it. Down side - composite rubber flakes apart with my toddler walking and playing on it. Little black "crumbs" have to be vacuumed up every couple of days. Also, it didn't come with straight edges, and one of the puzzle feet (technical term??) on an outside edge broke off within a couple of weeks. I (stay at home mom, not primary work out user) won't get another one like this.
